Yes I didn’t recommend anyone stop taking their pills.

Believe I said it was a “theory” as well. But it does make sense imo.

I mean, we’ve turned the page. All the precautions make sense so far, and I think there are more to come. Hope we look back and say we were overly cautious. But it’s here and now we are dealing with it.

Americans don’t like being told what to do.

The Chinese nipped this in the bud because (along with being really good at mass mobilization) under their authoritarian style of government the populace is, by and large, conditioned to obey.

Today’s America could never win something like World War II. Could you imagine if people had to ration basic necessities like meat, sugar, gasoline? There’d be riots in the streets.

Ruffalo seemed like he came into his own during the Belk Bowl. Hopefully, he avoids the 'Rona and adds a little strength.

Oats and Square are just dope. They don't seem like they will have a Jordan Jones or Kash mental breakdown, but they'll be getting a little something extra for National Prayer day from your boy. Also would prefer them to not get 'Rona.

F 'em it's football szn.

We missed the window to get groceries I guess so now I'm in a bit of a pickle. People bought everything- even stuff they knowingly do not want to eat, just so others wouldnt get it.

That sucks Clark. The lines at Costco here are 1-2 hour waits. Luckily we went on Tuesday. Even Safeway and the smaller stores are picked through. Pasta, cereal, canned goods, other dry goods...all gone.

PCH was pretty amazing yesterday though. Being outside in warm temps and the sun is always nice.

My wife wouldn’t take part (denial, annoyance) so when I brought home our foodstuffs, she said we’ll have a better chance to die of diabetes. It’s whatever.

It's pretty black and white on the symptoms...not sure why this isn't being stressed more to those that think they are going to die when their nose is running.

People are out and about in Lex...including myself. Kroger, Sams, Drakes and Tony's the last 2 days. Hamburg has been packed, and First Watch and Wild Eggs this morning were both full as I drove by. Would have went to church this morning were it not cancelled. Is it serious, of course, and common sense needs to step up (as it should each year when the flu is this bad)...but until martial law is enacted, then good luck on having this country cease all operations.

-Some Chinamen ate some raw bats.
Or pangolins.

Regardless, not trying to be overly racist but they can pipe the **** down about their success nipping it in the bud and focus on preventing the next one while making cheap products. Had my fill of China for a bit. Go stand in the corner the rest of the world will let you know when to come out.

To say that Americans are soft...that’s BS. Everyone I know is going to show up tomorrow to work and keep moving forward. Because there is work to do and it needs to get done. When people put walls up against Americans, they push the walls down. It’s been that way for 250 years. This isn’t the first virus or emergency to hit these shores. And it won’t be the last. The only thing that has changed is the availability of news and social media to spread fear.

And while I love Italy, there is a reason so many Italians migrated to the US 100+ years ago. The two countries aren’t comparable. Same thing with China. I’m tired of people bashing our country. We do a helluva lot of things right.

I"m a glass-half-full kind of guy.

One positive silver-lining of the NCAAT cancellation is not having to watch Jennifer Garner's stupid f*cking "What's in your wallet?" commercials....

Not to mention Spike, Samuel and Chuck and they annoying Buick commercials. That damn song is still stuck in my head.

Watching Kyle Tucker meltdown on Twitter *may* be the only thing that gets me through the next 14 days....[laughing]

He's usually a whiny, woke *****, but that comeback seemed spot-on. I'm enjoying that at dhookstead's expense.

Yep, and don’t forget silencing the coronavirus whistleblower for several weeks. China can go f*ck itself. The entire world likely wouldn’t be in this mess if China hadn’t completely f*cked this up from the very beginning.

There is now a huge misinformation/PR narrative from them blaming the West and people are starting to believe it. Through the looking glass.

My retired Pastor’s wife flew back from Ft. Myers late last week, and started having fever, dry cough, etc... about mid week. Her doctor told her she should get tested tomorrow.

My parents went out to dinner with them Monday before she started showing symptoms. This morning my Mom woke up feeling like ****, dry cough, runny nose, but no fever.

Hopefully neither one of them have “it” as those symptoms also align with normal ****; however, it’s still a bit concerning.

China nipped it im the bud? False. They started the whole damn thing with those disgusting markets. They've also had at least 3000 people die if we're trusting their numbers and two of their natives spread that **** all over Northern Italy.
I don’t know if you saw the appalling video of the Wuhan food market, but. if you’re gonna sit at the grown ups table of the global economy perhaps the globe insists they stop eating dogs, cats and other repugnant ****. Andrew Zimmer would puke at what these morons deem as food.

China ran a propaganda campaign in Lombardy region asking Italians to hug Chinese women to diminish stigma, blame and bias, whilst of course, spreading the ******* virus.
