I think a legitimately good stand-up comic would have a shot in the Presidential race. I mean, it's absolutely absurd on its face, but when you boil it down to zingers and quick wit, a good stand up would crush. Get all your real info fed to you from some political think tank, and then just torch all other candidates with your stand up skills.

Chris Rock should really consider making Head of State a documentary.

Black Mirror made an episode on this very thing. The Waldo Moment. Pretty good one.

Lewis Black would absolutely embarrass people in a debate. He’s got enough political knowledge to carry himself as well.

I think that everyone is playing up the “worst ever” angle without context of how crazy it’s always been. What are the odds that the “craziest ever” happens to be at the same time that you’re an adult taking part in it? FOH.

There’s a great podcast called “American Elections - Wicked Game” that is going through the scandals of every presidential election in history. It’s been absurd since the start, but each one is colored by the era in which they took place.

Like any great piece of art, each presidential election battle is timeless, yet completely of its time, IMO.

Oh y’all aren’t telling him about the Fish House at the bottom of the river?

I guess some things are worth keeping secret.

Yep, weird how you left off things like Clinton Body Count or Obama birther out of your examples.

Hey- don’t give them too much ****. You have a bunch of Republicans who grew up in Republican households in a Republican state, hung out with only other Republicans and eventually moved as adults into Republican neighborhoods. Never thought for a minute about any other way. They’ve never wanted so why should they consider how others view things?

Now, these jokers worship at the House of Trump- a silver spoonfed, self-serving Yankee POS, who’s somehow has become the Godfather of fratboys, evangelicals AND rednecks.

F off.

Whatever helps you sleep at night and feel superior, snowflake.

Maybe some of us are educated, sophisticated, traveled more than 70 miles before we were 30 and choose our own beliefs.

Enjoy your echo chamber, and get ready for four more years, brah.

Weird we went all day talking politics and mudslinging didn't start until one particular poster chimed in. Don't worry, Hollywood. If we want your take we'll just check Ashley Judd or Alyssa Milano's Twitter.

Is Alyssa Milano really that big of lefty? I seriously don’t know. If so- wow an even hotter all-timer. Do you follow her or something because this is like the 10th you brought her up.

Yeah- I know you common lifer Republican MFers are used to just dealing with each other. You don’t run into different points of view much in Chevy Chase, but you know what- F you. You keep wanting to bring politics into this thread- cool, but it’s not going to be a Republican circlejerk.

Centch literally was bashing the Dem debate because he’s too F’ing dense or forgetful to remember that shitshow 4 years ago.

So it’s my duty, I guess, to stop in and pop you pricks.

I’m happy to keep doing it, too. I’d rather burn this place down than let it become that.

Pompilios- family italian
Bakers Table
Chart House- seafood
Hooters
Cancun- mexican on the river

If you’re willing to branch out to Dayton (Purple Poulet), Covington or Cincinnati near the river, there are several other options.

I’ll say it again; Trump is an asshat. Most modern Presidents are despicable people. How can you get that far up the food chain w/o being one? Trump just doesn’t have a filter. Fine, whatever.

That doesn’t negate the fact that things are really good under his tenure.

Maybe it’s due to the grinding halt that the Federal government has come to, in the effort to oust him. Maybe it’s a more corporate friendly economy, maybe it’s luck. But the point remains that things ARE better.

Chevy Chase is chock full of smug academia leftist elites last time I checked. Anth isn't really living with his own over there off Romany Road. Conservative close-minded psychos like myself live out in suburbia where we can get more square feet for the money.

Surprised no one mentioned Brewster's Millions the last couple pages.

Cracking a buddy's 2019 Handy this weekend and GYERO tasting the next. Anyone snag a Larceny BP besides Kooky Kats?

Or SoKro. (South of Kroger Field). Hey I just invented that. Now I'm off to uspto.gov to file the trademark application.

My entire family was Democrats.

Welders, teachers, farmers, even some politicians(D). I now live in a gayborhood.

There are many Democrats out there I would vote for against Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, and Mike Bloomberg are not in that category.

Was going to let it all go, until now, but . . .

Not me, and I didn't vote for Trump. I'm about 100% Libertarian.

I just hate, in no particular order: (a) big government / Big Brother; (b) coastal elites; (c) big media; (d) hypocrisy; (e) liars; (f) sore losers who lose and then want to change the rules of the game they were fine with before they lost; (g) people who think they are smarter than most Americans and think they should be able to tell people how to live their lives [see (a) through (f), above].

Yes, Trump is FOS but it's amazing how he gets so many people so riled up. The Ds have been playing dirty since the 1960s. Now they're just upset because someone on the other side is finally beating them at their own nasty game.

I voted for Kasich and if not for him, I would have voted for Rubio. But as it turns out, Trump hates my enemies even more than I do. So that's cool with me.

:joy: Oh the soft rationalizing before the “but”- how typical. The Libertarian claim- also bold. Don’t hear that one much from y’all.

Also enjoy the Ds have been playing dirty. :joy: Ok. What a ridiculously biased statement. Absurd.

I ignore Boat’s political nonsense because he’s irredeemable, but it’s a no-fly-zone for the rest of you through November. I love you all - Centch is an all-timer and great guy - but you bring politics in here at all, I will muck things up like a damn late January Tuesday 9pm tipoff Mike Anderson game.
