-Rebound, pass, loose ball, etc ---> I'm not sure Whitney has made a clean catch all year. His mind is always racing out in front thinking about how he can get a shot up.

-Sloot's birthday got more coverage than your average celebrity. I actually feel kinda famous in a way, been telling everyone who will listen that I'm actually good friends with her & stay at her house all the time. Nobody can believe it.

-Every now and then I think that it would be cool to revisit Disney 30 years later as an adult, but people around here do a great job of shooting that down, which is probably the correct call.

-I can't even imagine New Orleans right now

-Carlton Bragg has now been dismissed from Kansas, Arizona, and New Mexico St. Self really has a type.

-I love bad food more than most, but Tommy is on another level. Dude is truly a fast food connoisseur, cracks me up.

-Enjoyed Messiah, thought the main dude was oustanding. Quick watch.

-Hit 4 Aces on VP Friday night, right after I'd reduced my bet to .50 while waiting for my bar tab - playing max credits, of course. :uzi:

-Quickley has raised his season 3% from 30 to 42 in the last 4 games, that's pretty wild. Through 3 games, Kentucky is leading the SEC at 44% from 3 as a result. :eyes:

Not only is he coming in until the 2nd time out... the 3 guard lineup isn't being played until 6-8 minutes left in the 1st half. Hopefully, and likely, this is his last attempt to get Whitney's light bulb to spark before the tough games hit.

-Kevin Harlan is the best NFL play-by-play announcer, hands-down. It's a shame that he can only be heard on the radio during the playoffs.

I knew he was a workhorse, but it's really incredible what he does. There was an article/interview a few weeks back (can't find it) that detailed his schedule across sports & the work he puts in, and it's absolutely unbelievable.

-Went to my fraternity 50th anniversary at EKU party on Saturday at the new Marriott City Center downtown. Shew wee that place is real nice and I really cannot believe after that spot witting as a hole for 10 years that they finally finished it. It is going to do some damage to the Hilton and Hyatt for sure.

-Having said that I would not recommend booking a new spot having its first event in the future. The ran out of beer several times. Had to run to get more thus causing waits. Hey if you are booking a party of over 300 for fraternity members I'd just have cases of beer waiting on ice. People went to their rooms and brought down bottles and coolers so take that Marriott.

-LSU rolls tonight? I mean they are getting a hungry *** home crowd.

-14 year old talking yesterday about wanting to be adult and we had to give him some knowledge about how bad it sucks to be an adult. He had no clue.

-Cal does seem to be stubborn to run out 3 guards. I mean I guess he hopes to still get something out of Whitney and Brooks for the long term but it is pretty obvious what works.

Miami football was just ahead of its time. For two decades, they mostly recruited — and you’re not gonna believe this — urban African Americans who cared more about professional sports than academics, and used rich/famous people to build their brand and lavish their athletes with gifts.

Absolutely crazy when you really think about it.

You'd like Epcot during the Food/Wine Festival. There are only about six rides in that whole park, but for those few weeks, the place is loaded with kiosks featuring international cuisine and drinks. It's the least "Disney-fied" the place feels all year.

IG played 34 minutes Saturday. Cal knows the 3 guard lineup is the winning formula, but he also knows he needs to keep kids bought in as right now we have 4 guys we can count on game in and game out, he needs 6 at a minimum. he has to keep trying to get kids to get over the hump. it is starting to work with EJ, maybe Brooks is next. It is January, we will start to see the best on the floor soon, but he has to build guys confidence and develop a rotation.

Its all good until we are down 15 six minutes into the game while floppy bang ******** are going nuts while the Dragon commits turnovers and misses shots he has no real chance of making at this point in his career. Meanwhile IQ is chilling on the bench.

-a trip to disney for nostalgic purposes sounds cool for those that don't have kids. I think folks are more unnerved by adults that *live* Disney.

-as much as it pains me to admit...religiously following the exploits of 18-21 yo old kids on a field/court isn't normal to those who don't *get it*.

-lifes short, do what makes you happy so long as you aren't hurting anyone and rest assured that some *******(s) in this thread are gonna bust your balls for being *weird*...because it's fun and helps to pass the time before we all die.

Skal was a poosay but at least he had discernible skills. Dragon has nothing in the golf bag he can go to. He can't even rely on his athleticism to make simple basketball plays. Not only is he terrible, he takes selfish not-in-the-flow shots which puts the team in bad positions.

What's his total (+/-) this season? -300?

I said it a couple months ago; he's the biggest bust of the Cal era and I don't think it's even that close (Stacey Poole Jr maybe). He doesn't need on the floor whatsoever unless by necessity.

- Keion Brooks needs to continue to develop because there are going to be times where he's needed on the floor during 'winning time' to guard versatile bigs as the stretch 4. Sestina, for as much as I like him, is picked on ala Wiltjer on the defensive end by bringing him out top to negotiate the high ball screen. His foot speed is poor and he gives up the paint wayyy too easily. It's definitely a risk/reward with him in the game late. He's very good in the post and a willing skip passer, which is huge for our shooters. Brooks doesn't have that poise yet to calmly handle a double team and make the right play (most of the time) but the reps between now and end of February are huge for him.

- I guess the Juzang window is closed. Wouldn't be surprised if he AND Whitney enter the portal after the season.

I’m certain we’ll do Disney at one point with the lil lassies. Rest assured it will be when they are both old enough to remember it.

Under no conditions whatsoever would I take a vacation to Disney sans kids. I obviously love our kids but the point of certain trips is for a kid free getaway where we can be ourselves again and do whatever it is that we want to do.

HEY, HONEY. WE NEED SOME US TIME. LET’S PLAN A TRIP. MY MOM AND DAD HAVE AGREED TO TAKE THE KIDS. LET’S FLY TO ORLANDO SO WE CAN SPEND THE WEEK AT DISNEY WITH THOUSANDS OF WHINY CHILDREN EVERYWHERE . WE CAN OVERPAY ON MEDIOCRE FOOD/BEVERAGE AND WAIT HOURS IN LINES FOR RIDES.

Never.

I'm sure there is a cousin or friend you could stay with just outside Orlando.

-Sestina is defintely weak defensively, but also gets off the floor for tough rebounds, dunks, tips, and doesn't shy away from contact and is always around the ball, unlike Wiltjer. He's far from a lost cause out there, even if he's not making 3s.

And Whitney has had 1 game in double digits (11 against EKU) through 15 games. That's unbelievable.

For as awful as he was (and he was), Skal had scoring games of 26, 13, 16, 17, 10, 11, 12, 11, 18, & 12. Think maybe you need to go back and 'revisit' the numbers.
I'm not saying Whitney isn't awful right now. He's unplayable. Skal was also unplayable, on a team desperate for a big man, by conference play.

I took my kids to Disney World and - to be honest - I don't remember much about it other than our plane arriving hours late in the middle of the night and having to drag luggage and a child to a rental car while the oldest one trudged behind us howling. Also there was a Toy Story ride that was kinda dope, I think, and well worth(?) the 3 hours in line. Experience of a lifetime.

K.

But you've missed the point, which isn't all that surprising.

I said Skal at least had skills, for being such a gash. Whitney has no reference point whatsoever.

Stick to the Disney stuff, chief.

Nah, I got your point. Skal is easily the biggest bust for Cal. At this point in 2016 I guarentee you can find plenty of Skal has no skill takes. So you stick to Disney stuff... cheif.

My wife is dead-set on going to Disney this year. I have no interest in spending that kind of money on a vacation, but I think I’ve put it off all I can. Kids will be 11, 9 and 6 at the time of Fall Break so I think now is the time to do it. I’m sure my transmission will go out on the way home.

Packing for vacation is gravy. 2-3 pairs of chino shorts and 4-5 pfg shirts. Sandals and a pair of loafers. No jeans on vacation.

My work-clothing is pretty simple. I find a certain shirt I like, then purchase it in 4 other colors. In the winter it’s gingham button downs and a fleece vest (standard contractor attire), in the summer it’s a pfg polo. Pfg stands for pretty f*cken great, fwiw.

This will be my first year not rooting for Dabo in the playoffs. LSU is about the only other SEC program I find likable in 2020. May change with the Mississippi schools getting cool coaches. Just feel like Dabo made a heel turn in the last year. Has nothing to do with his politics or anything like that, he just seems to ***** too much.

Time for a snus

Tony is digging in on something really unnecessary. Skal was without question a bust, a BIG one. But, he at least had plenty of games mixed in that disappointing season where he was a real factor, and did some good things.

^ and he was taken in the 1st Round of the NBA Draft b/c of those occasional moments.

Whitney has not, and likely will not do any of those things this season.

This isn't complicated.
