- Say what you want but it’s pretty damn remarkable how successful our guys are in the pros compared to our peers. Hell, Josh Jackson is a G-Leaguer now. smh

^ re: Josh Jackson that's a strange one where a KU guy falls hard after getting drafted that high. I think of other guys that ended up at Kansas where we might have had early interest and see some flame-outs even sooner (Cliff Alexander & Malik Newman come to mind). I remember thinking Newman was going to tear things up in college as a scorer at least. Yikes.

-I get really anxious trying to decide or even open a good bottle of bourbon(really any booze). Hoarder like tendency.
-Won't be able to decide on Cobb vs Bowden until the end of the season but he's absolutely worthy of the discussion. Similar to Snell vs Williams.
-One thing to note, since most of you missed the first 7 minutes, we were ready to straight boat race Georgetown until Cal started playing weird *** lineups and experimenting. While Duke and UL both really struggled.
-Need to get this rain outta here by mid afternoon tomorrow.

West Sixth Christmas Ale is low key one of the best Christmas beers. Dad from Rhinegeist is another favorite.
Dad from Rhinegeist sounds like a Vonnegut novel. So probably a decent, if Unitarian, beer.

Complete opposite. Once open I wear it out in most cases.
That's my problem, once open the bottle will be empty pretty fast; I also have a hard time deciding to drink my more rare and expensive stuff.
I get an irrational anxiety when I get about a 1/4 of a bottle of anything left. LIke my life is going to end if I drain it.
I too have some bourbon. When I feel like having some, I pour it. Then I let it sit until I feel like having some more. Will alternate between bottles. Then buy some more when they’re empty.
Drop some randoms then, Rob. Be good to get an update on your Dad’s business and any near death falls you’ve taken lately.

-Watched more of this WS than I have the last 15 or so combined. Think its because I've bet on every game, been a nice little run hitting 5 of the 6 ML's and couple win margin bets. Had Nats +3-4 last night for +850, the 2 run double in the 9th SUCKED, as did missing the HR by 8" in the bottom.
But MLB needs to look at the starting times for WS games. I get the TV ratings but 7 games pushing midnight is just too much.
- Usually keep 3 brands of Scotch and a bottle of Bushmills Black on my wet bar. Mix up the consumption so I can keep my shopping list the same each trip to Total Wine. Cigars is about 6 different makers, found what I like and don't stray very often.
- Woodstock doc on Netflix is a good watch. Nice behind the scenes look at the production and not just a concert film.
- Bye weeks are a nice break but also suck with nothing to look forward to on Saturday.

Thats not true. I’ve only bought a Stagg and those Blanton SFTB at secondary prices. Most everything else I grab on my own.
I feel like Herro (or any rookie who is Butler's buddy) is a cold streak and bad shot away from Jimmy threatening to stab him in the neck. I wouldn't trust it.
Not trying to single you out in particular, but Wet Bar is a top 5 hated/unnecessary phrase for me. :uzi:
