While he's out looking to "receive feedback" I hope that he gets plenty of it from a frustrated fanbase that only wanted him to get that feedback based on actual ****ing on-court play.

I bet Doc led to more Porsche sales than SS.

- Let me answer one of those questions for you, Chad...yes, he's going to let Wagner go, too.

- I also thought one of Antigua's responsibilities was to sort through this stuff for Cal. So either it flew over his head, too...or he saw the signs and Cal went through with it anyway. This is the kind of stuff that happens to a Barbee/Justus staff. It's not supposed to happen to an Antigua/Chin staff.

- The thing that still burns me up more than any of it was the fact that Grady could barely walk, Sahvir was beat up, and TyTy was on a bum wheel, and the kid still just sat there and let them flail away over the past month of the season. I don't care who your handlers are or what they've told you....if your teammates are your "brothers", you step in and help out, especially if you knew you were gonna leave anyway.

- I had completely missed the Hopkins-to-Providence news. I know one thing...Ed Cooley will know how to use that kid.

- The sliver of a silver lining today? Rex's new CNN+ show....boom. Outta here.

Yeah, I threw Houston out there for Hopkins as somewhere I feel his rugged style would be perfect.....Cooley/Providence is the same deal -- he'll be a stud, no doubt.

And Llama is right about the portal -- thing is just really getting going, as are the late recruits, decommits, etc.

There is absolutely zero reason to have any faith about the short term future of the University of Kentucky basketball program other then blind stupid faith.

**** ISNT GETTING ANY BETTER.

Rip the band-aid off and start the down years now. Stop kicking it down the road. This program has become an abject embarrassment with a $9 million ******** at the wheel.

The frustration and anger are warranted. However, we're returning the NPOY. We have 2 top ten recruits coming. We have a Kentucky boy who is a proven shooter/defender at the high major level. We get back Collins who would definitely be gone in years past. In all likelihood, we should return Toppin, Ware, and I would imagine Wheeler. We will almost certainly add needed parts in the portal.

The Sharpe situation sucks and definitely makes us look bad. However, there is still plenty to be excited about in the short term. If you aren't excited, that's understandable. But to say it's blind faith to be excited is ridiculous, imo. I have plenty of good reasons.

F Sharpe, but anyone wasting any energy on that after today is dumb. UKO made a rare good point that this has been "known" by all of us for nearly a year now.

Oscar is back, a couple freshman studs, hopefully several returnees, and make a splash in the portal -- and we're preseason Top 5, and justifably so. St. Peters will never go away, but we still had one of the best teams in the country. I expect we will again, and maybe healthy this time?

Then, it's FLAMING seat for the Head Coach to get it done. That remains to be seen, and Cal gets zero benefit of the doubt from me....but Oscar alone deserves our attention and respect.

I know I'm being a whiny, negative *****, but we had the National Player of the Year last year, too, and we got bounced in the first round. By Saint Peter's.

Obviously I'm thrilled Oscar is back, but it doesn't carry the same excitement as it normally would.
Yeah… I’m not sure what positions we’re actually better in next year. Seems like we’re going to be worse.

Wheeler better with another year's worth of experience.
Same for Oscar, Toppin, Collins and Ware. So at the very least, the frontcourt should be better than a year ago.

We're essentially "trading" TyTy for Wallace. A dip there, most likely.
We're essentially "trading" Hopkins for Livingston. An upgrade there, most likely.
We're essentially "trading" Grady for Fredrick. Probably a dip there (but maybe an improvement on defense).

So at that point, you're at least on par with last year's team, which we all felt good about, pre-injuries. The question is how you replace Mintz and Brooks(assuming he's gone). If it's Reeves and Shannon, you may very well have upgraded at both of those spots.

I'm not saying we'll be markedly better. The dip from TyTy and Grady to Wallace/Fredrick might be substantial. I'm just saying that if there's a normal progression of improvement, and you get the right two guys in the portal, we're in the FF hunt.

Virtually impossible for there to be much of a dip from Grady and Washington’s March efforts.

I think we could potentially be better at *every* position, through a combination of experience, improvement, & (hopefully) HEALTH.

I'm very high on Wallace. I was high on TyTy as well, and he was well on his way before injury...

But, i fully understand and agree partly with PTI(pti)'s post as well. I'm in full wait & see mode, but on paper, I'm fairly certain I'll like our squad next year as much as anyone else's, while also being fully aware of Coach.

True. I was thinking of them at their highest levels. But yeah, I probably would've taken Wallace and Fredrick over March TyTy and Grady.

I'm not saying CAL will change how he coaches in crunch time. That's why I'll be pessimistic about the end result until he proves me wrong.

I'm just saying that talent-wise, I don't know that we'll be off much, if at all, from what we were this year. And we may very well be improved.

Whether he can maximize the talent and win big games is another story.

CBS has us #2 right now- and #1 if Caleb Love leaves. We’re Top 5 by most everyone.

So while I get the anger and skepticism, it’s definitely a weird situation.

I appreciate trying to take a deep breath and attempt to get a little more optimistic, but we were preseason #3 in 2012 (and I'm sure top five in some other disappointing seasons). The bluebloods are oftentimes overrated in the preseason.

UK needs to blacklist SS from using our logo/brand. He's no Wildcat. Never will be.

Also noticed on his twitter that his camp has already designed his logo. It's a tacky "S" that looks like some reject from the Monster Energy Drink creative team drew up. All the red flags are there, but this ******** flew under the radar (mostly due to his incredibly quick rise up the rankings, imo).
