Zach Johnson is a stack and tilter (modified a bit) so I like him based on that alone. And also the players like and respect him so I assume he's a quality dude.

Blackberry is a special place- we had to cancel a follow-up trip there once my wife was with child since its pointless to go and not overdo it on wine and bourbon- now its impossible to find a date to get back there.

I havent had a drink in a long time. I dont know if i've quit drinking, dont think thats the case- just haven't had the desire. Noted that my grandfather quit drinking and smoking cold turkey once his oldest child was born, and my dad did the same for a few years until we were at least a little more self-sufficient. Maybe its a thing with that lineage. My grandmother, however, continues to have a high-ball a day in between cancer meds. She never slowed down her vices.

Are Breeders Cup tickets ever going on sale? WTF? Are they waiting for some CDC guideline updates or what? We had tickets to the BC that never was- and were supposed to have priority for those same tickets- but I cant get a straight answer from anyone.

UK/Michigan would be a nice home and home series. London is awesome- but I've moved to the side that thinks the season ticket fans (the upper level common man- not you court side snobs who make all the trips anyway) deserve a classic non-conference tilt.

The UK seizing billionaire Russian assets across London is pretty wild. I'm not really one for a government takeover of personal property, but in this case, i'll give them a head nod and allow it.

My man Sepp Straka with a Tour win yesterday to bring some hardware back to Birmingham.

I put on Gringo Honeymoon if I need to change my mood a bit... just a feel good tune, man.

My mother was down here this weekend, on a stop before flying off to St. Thomas- dropped her off at the airport this morning where her bag weighed in at a cool, 62 pounds. Christ.

She had to move stuff into her other checked bag and her carry-on bag to even it out. She claimed that she had to pack heavily bc she was taking two separate trips.... As if two days in Birmingham requires an excessive wardrobe. I think we left the house twice.

She had every single thing from her bathroom, I guess afraid that the 5 star resort wont have a hair dryer or other stuff that literally all hotels have in the room now. I was livid with her. This after a fiasco of her trying to upload her covid test results to the CDC site which she got so incredibly wrong that a government official called her.

Sloot's luggage makes me angry, and I don't even have to deal with it. 2 full size checked bags for a 2-3 day Basketball trip, etc. Pretty sure she even brought the Vitamix & groceries along a time or two.

One of the few times in life I actually sympathize with Tony.

Before we leave town the lass hard boils all of our eggs and packs them for "snacks" in the car, on the plane, wherever. It's offensive. She'll also make the most random and usually disgusting room temperature smoothies with whatever stray fruit is in the fruit bowl, regardless of freshness or growth she cuts off the damn things.

"HERE DRINK THIS" as I am finishing up the last second tasks to get out the door. Her face and the now filthy blender sitting in the previously empty sink gets met with the most disdainful look I can offer someone not wearing pajama pants and flip flops in public. Typically we'll be silent in the car until *at least* the Gene Snyder when she invariably pulls this stunt.

*Pretty excited to ask this after last year...where are you all staying in Indy for NCAA F'N Tournament?

*Not a bad weekend. Went out with the usual crew to the usual places on Friday and had my fill. LYFT to Tin Roof on Saturday to watch the game. Had a couple pictures then got a LYFT back home. My plan was to go back out that night but I fell asleep on the couch and woke up at 1 AM. Probably a good thing, honestly.

*Zach Johnson fan.

*I do my best to stuff as much **** in a backpack/carry-on as humanly possible. I hate getting to where I'm going then have to wait on my bag. Plus, there's always a bit of fear it didn't make the trip. Happened to us in Atlantis two years ago. Ended up in Liberia (South America, not the AIDSY one)

Hey 80 how was Nefertiti? I am missing Mediterranean fare since my trips to Detroit are few and far between now.

- UK does not win this SEC tourney. I like our chances to get #9, but Cal doesn’t care enough about Sunday for the SEC and our players could use a rest instead of playing 3 days in a row.

Not this year. Right after the Auburn game, the players said in the press conference that they are better, and specifically that they hope they get them in the SECT. That never happens here. They'll be going for the kill.

Our biggest fights ever have been b/w our driveway and Versailles Rd on the way to the airport. Because of packing, leaving the house, and the dumbass city planners that came up with the clusterfuck that is Waller.

Another reason that this schedule sucks is that on the rare year where we have a much loved senior (as well as Grady), we have to have Senior Day at 7 pm on a random Tuesday.

We should have had Senior Day when we played Alabama.

Meh, haven't they all been through one already?

You should let this guy in Kyiv know how weak-minded he is.

Perhaps... maybe to soften the blow I'll tell him that Oleg of Novgorod invaded and took Kyiv back in 882 AD. Or significantly worse, Batu Khan of the Mongols, who completely destroyed the city back in 1240. Putin is letting them off easy under this historical context.

Genetics are a *****. Ulis is half-pint, Chris Paul. He had no weakness other than size (height and weight). I saw him up close in person in Indy when he was with the Suns. Dude looked like a ball boy.

Did Oleg drop thermobaric bombs on civilians?

I have a feeling that you relaying your Wikipedia research won't soften the blow much for him though.

JFK ordered an aide to buy up as many Cuban cigars as he could right before he ok’ed the Cuban trade embargo.

Wonder if the governor did the same.
