^^Jordan Peterson went on a rant on that speech on Rogan that was pretty hilarious. His wife was in this debate/forum. It's almost performance art/satire.

I'm pretty liberal, but how do people get this wacky?
But, are you a soy boy?

When that shot goes down and all the UNC players turn to their left to head to the bench you can FEEL the disappointment, sadness, depression just start to ooze out of em. It’s glorious.

The NBA trade deadline is wild. Dudes get traded from one team to another and they start playing with their new team like 1 day later. Meanwhile, ***** boi Sharpe can’t even go 5-on-5 with his “future” team. Really odd.

Oddly lonely at 2:30 pm, I randomly texted a local work colleague, a high school buddy, and my sister and brother (and their spouses) to drop by for a drink. Unsuccesful, I progressed from one to the next…No answers. Meh.
At 7:00, I got all affirmative acceptances for an 8:00 barrage from all of them. Welp? An amalgam of personalities…

No one knew each other, but it turned into a magical evening of whiskey and tunes and beers and Olympics and Ms PacMan fun.

I poured my favorite drinks, made my sister a few specialty cocktails. Beers.

Whiskey neat in Glencairns:
  • Sam Houston 15
  • Remus Repeal Reserve V
  • Barrel Seagrass 16
  • Seagrass for (A/B)
  • New Riff Malted Rye 6
  • Penelope 4-Grain Barrel
  • High Wire Jimmy Redcorn White Dog Benton Smoked
  • Compass Box Menagerie Blended Scotch

after a complete **** week of work, I really am glad I built the best bar in Christendom. Don’t @ me. But, it’s true.

I just need my little man to throw down his cash register and I’m ready to rinse / repeat for watching UF and letting the Mrs to whisk me off to Lugers tomorrow with a grin on my puss.

It isn’t odd at all. He’s a projected top 5 pick. He doesn’t want to go on the court at the tail end of the year and do anything to screw that up. He’s never playing here.
Why stay then? He could leave now and go prepare for the draft. It doesn't make any sense to hang around if he intends to leave.

I can’t answer that question with any certainty. But maybe he’s hedging his bet. Let’s say he goes to workouts and gets injured or plays poorly. If his draft stock drops, he’s got a safety net.

He could be living the high life on his agent’s dime training in LA and preparing WITHOUT living in Lexington in dead of winter going to class.

You guys don’t know **** so stop giving your opinion as fact.

Actually, you know what, I rarely do this here and hate to curse but all of you F off.

Someone needs to give you the cliche’ answer, so here it is:

“Offering stupid uninformed opinions as fact is what message boards is for! Why have a message board if you can’t offer stupid uninformed opinions?”

hhhhhmmm … not as satisfying as I imagined.

Better question…..why would he turn down being a top 5 pick to stick around college for another year with little to no upside as far as draft position is considered?

His “handler” has answered this question 20x already. Maybe he’s lying or maybe he’s just making a poor decision but they’re taking the longterm view that Cal will better prepare him for a long successful career.

That same handler also handled SGA, so he has a relationship with Cal. Seems silly for him to damage it just so his guy can use UK for a few months.

It also seems silly that Cal doesn’t realize what’s going to happen at seasons end and will be blindsided when Sharpe declares for the NBA.

He knows the plan, and is ok with it and understands this is probably best for the kid so doing this helps his relationship with said handler for future recs.

I like my team without Sharpe.

I don't believe his handler. I also don't see much point ruminating on it. I'm going to hope for the best, expect him to go pro, and worry more about this awesome *** squad we've got this year.
