LOL. I was 30 minutes late hearing the news and I felt like I couldn't catch up. At least you were at Augusta National. How was the day, the course, etc?

First time going and it completely lived up to the hype... feels like you're stepping into an alternate reality... course is in unbelievable shape.

We were staying at Ocean Isle. It was a great few days. I hadn't been to OIB since the hurricane landed there in 2020 (a few days before our scheduled arrival) and cancelled our trip.

And yep.. Meadowlands had... maybe 3 par 5's? Something I remember distinctly was almost a 90 degree dogleg left on number 1 where there is a pond at the inside of the "elbow".

I made a mistake, I meant to ask if they had a par 6.

No par 6 at Meadowlands (although I blazed a few trails that definitely brought 6 or 7 into "regulation" play. LOL).

I played Meadowlands but it was decades ago. Does it have a par 5 or am I confusing it with Farmstead?

Farmstead has a closing par 6. Or HAD, I should say. The course closed in 2021.
