We were staying at Ocean Isle. It was a great few days. I hadn't been to OIB since the hurricane landed there in 2020 (a few days before our scheduled arrival) and cancelled our trip.

And yep.. Meadowlands had... maybe 3 par 5's? Something I remember distinctly was almost a 90 degree dogleg left on number 1 where there is a pond at the inside of the "elbow".
I made a mistake, I meant to ask if they had a par 6.

Scottie with a very ho hum, boring 2 under 70 in the afternoon should make a lot of other people nervous

Couldn’t have helped to have Bobby Mac knocking it around like a Sunday duffer

I don’t like MacIntyre. Just something about him

Rory was straight fire today.

I have a feeling since he broke through last year that he might go on a run there over the next 4 or 5 years.

Rory has capitalized on his breaks but he’s gotten a ton of them. Every shot into the trees has left him with an alley to get out, usually right to the green.

Hate to see Rory falter like that but am loving we have an exciting day ahead now. 8 guys still in play, my favorite sports day of the year.

With Scottie playing 13 and 15 so poorly this week, I’m predicting he plays them in -3 today

A birdie and an eagle
I tried to speak it into existence

This back 9 is eerily similar to last year in that nobody is putting it all together

Last year was birdie bogey birdie bogey. This year everyone is just….tentative…for lack of a better term

Rory couldn’t separate, but none of the challengers could mount a run. Young had very makable birdie putts on 15 and 16 and couldn’t jar either. A boring final round.

I'll admit that I've never been a big Rory fan. I don't dislike him and I respect him for the massive amount of talent and game he has. I just don't particularly like him (if what I'm saying makes any sense).

It just feels odd when the Masters is effectively won on Thursday and Friday. Scottie lost the tournament on Friday. And Rory didn't lose the tourney on the weekend...to me that's the best way to describe it.

And poor old Rosie LOL. There are so many great players throughout the history of the game with a "love/hate" relationship with Augusta National...but at this point, his has to be getting near the top of that list. The second he yanked that shot on 11....you could see his mind grinding the rest of the day with "oh my God it's happening again." He honestly played scared from that point forward.

And I'm guessing Cam Young broke his putter into about 1000 pieces after Sunday (I would have). He couldn't buy a putt for a million dollars yesterday.

I am a Rory fan and am so glad he won. Was worried for awhile. Of course I'd have been happy if Scheffler had won too.
