The issue is logistics. You really think we can just go get whomever we want no strings or hiccups right now?
That's not realistic. Let's see what happens with UNC. That will tell us a lot about the modern landscape of college basketball.

I'm looking at this logically. There's just not a lot of options at the moment. Unless Pope walks on his own, nothing will change before December.
The only option we have is not attend games or spend money on UKBB. That's how we force a change.
We all know how this ends. Michigan holds on and wins. Yaxel doesn’t play or plays on one foot. UConn luck continues and never ends

Anyone who watched Zona, Michigan, or Duke this year and couldn’t see that had the bluest tinted glasses ever. We weren’t even as good as Arkansas talent level. We beat them somehow, but that’s more on Cal.
Many things called against Kentucky that’s literally NEVER called in ANY other games. We don’t get the shaft in officiating, though.

Michigan may not need Yaxel to kill UConn. There's a huge size disparity. UConn runs good stuff and is coached about as well as anyone, but Michigan is a buzzsaw right now. They've got a Monstars level Zona team grabbing their shorts in the first half.
Crappy Cal should've lost to freaking High Point. God that would've been amazing karma.

Arizona shitting the bed! This is what I’ve been saying about Lloyd. I just don’t think he’s an elite coach. Sure, he made a FF this year. However, he’s had a couple teams that were FF favorites and one that was a national title favorite and had never made it past S16 until this season. Arizona should be playing with Michigan right now, especially with Yaxel out.

Looks like Arizona who was the best team in basketball during the season and throughout the tournament are going to get screwed over by the elevated floors. FWIW I think Michigan will have a chance at beating Uconn to prevent them from winning another title. We need Michigan to deliver

While true, there is like a 2 day window between this game and the final so I don't play to that much. Yes, there can be a "let down" spot in the title game but I just don't think UConn has the firepower for Michigan, who I picked as the title winner when the tournament began. It's a one game situation, so anything can happen, but May has been on a Final Four stage before (albeit not on a title game stage) so I think that negates some of Hurley's advantage there that he may have over Lloyd.
True, but sooner or later that finals unbeaten window falls apart. Weren't we unbeaten in title games until 1966?
