Lloyd made no adjustments. His players were completely out of sync and looked like a team that hadn't played together at all. Everyone keeps saying that the secret to winning is having a championship coach. Lloyd sat there and watched an epic meltdown and had no answer. I wanted Arizona to win but it was obvious that one coach had his team ready and other coach was off in la-la land.

Lloyd was doing his best impersonation of Dean Smith who admitted that his goal was to get to the FF. After that, he didn't really put the effort into preparing the team. That is why he choked away so many opportunities.

After seeing it I'm glad Michigan won as they have a much better chance at beating You con. Arizona would have got schooled. Michigan is locked in, hopefully.

The issue is logistics. You really think we can just go get whomever we want no strings or hiccups right now?
That's not realistic. Let's see what happens with UNC. That will tell us a lot about the modern landscape of college basketball.

I'm looking at this logically. There's just not a lot of options at the moment. Unless Pope walks on his own, nothing will change before December.

The only option we have is not attend games or spend money on UKBB. That's how we force a change.

Even if we can’t get the coach we want we would get better the day we get rid of Pope.

An interim coach would be better.

Yep! I should’ve known better than to take Arizona to win it all. Thought maybe the talent would win out over poor coaching. Hell, Purdue had them beat as well. Then they just went full retard. I can’t believe how “bad” of a 3 point shooting team they are.

AZ tries to drive everything into the paint. Michigan was ready for that. Burries was 2-10 from three, the rest of the AZ team was 4-7. They should have taken more threes when they were open instead of playing hero ball one against 3 or 4. Michigan for the title!
