I don't believe many are fake fans. The expectation of this team after the Bahamas trip makes struggling especially frustrating. I personally have lost interest in our team's each year since Cal's arrival. Not sure if it's the OAD or just our style of play. May be a combination of both. Still a fan and think Cal is a very good coach. I wish we would get away from being a stepping stone to the NBA and go back to being the University of Kentucky. Not sure that happens under Cal.
Yea I did think we should have won. You actually sound like you have a similar viewpoint. The point of the post was the garbage about "we need a new coach", attacking Cals daughters on social media, blasting the players, all that bull **** is what I hate seeing. I'm disappointed we lost but I guess I handle it better.
What is a "fake" fan? Is that someone with whom you disagree? Are you a "real" fan?
I'm betting you're 14 tops. Not that age has anything much to do with civil discussion. Maturity has a lot to do with age and most of your posts aren't mature so 14 might be a stretch.
Lobbing grenades is called holding Cal accountable. Reasonable fans will be measured and fair with criticism. Deserved criticism withheld is not being a fan. Anyone who is not willing to offer criticism when needed offers nothing of value at all. If fans don't demand excellence, they will not get it. Rupp, by gawd, demanded it and damn sure got it. He also knew how to coach and that helped a lot.

Is the thread that hard to comprehend? You got this man, try reading from the beginning. This board has a lot of jokers who think they are funny. Pretty simple really for all the people that want a new coach, who think the players suck, who go after Cals daughters, who only hit this board up on when the cats lose..... go root for someone else!
End of the day it's a basketball message board and I would love to talk basketball. Too many internet tough guys who just want to post for attention.

Well, you could look at advanced stats rankings like Kenpom (where UK is ranked 16). Young teams get better at a higher rate than veteran squads who "are what they are." Last season's team is a classic case in point. 10-8 regular season, and we then cruised through the SEC tourney and played well in the NCAA. To say that UK last season was a bad team that improved to "mediocre" is absurd. To say that this team is "bad" is equally absurd.
Jesus Christ. What part of losing to a bad Kansas State team looked ‘pretty good’ to you? That’s my problem with people like you on this board. You expect the rest of us to buy into this fantasy where we’re actually this superstar team that just had a bad shooting game, or got into foul trouble, or had a few unlucky turnovers. The reality is that if you can’t shoot, and you can’t defend, and you can’t hold onto the ball, you are not a good team.
I agree that this is the worst Kentucky fan site and most on here are Fake Fans from the rival schools. These threads are terrible and most are just jokes about the NIT, Coach Cal, the team, certain players. It hasn't stopped since around 3:30pm or 4:00pm after the Seton Hall OT loss and it won't stop until we get on a streak and are winning. We go out and beat Utah, UNC, UL, and KU in our 4 Non-conference games left and win the 6 SEC games in January 2019 and head to February at 17-2 then we have all the Kentucky Fans back talking about best team ever, best turnaround ever, and headed to the Final Four and a possible National Championship!! These fake fans are so UNREAL!!!

Let ME get this straight. YOU think the bar for a good team is making it past the second round?? That doesn’t sound like the gold standard of college basketball to me. If every fan was like you we’d be celebrating Tubby’s 20 season at Kentucky and hanging banners for sweet sixteen appearances.
I don't get the resounding myth that we always struggle in Dec but make Final Four runs in March. Yes, it has happened, but not always and certainly not last year. Do some on here actually believe we made a run last year? It's like when the VA #1 seed thing happened, they convinced themselves we were final 4 bound and they haven't been able to grasp the reality of how it actually turned out. Imho, we did not "get it figured out by March" last year, so I'm unclear why everyone keeps saying that.

100% agree! We have some of the worst overreacting fans in college basketball. Last 6 weeks have proven it!

Again...its not fans who complain after a loss...its the fans that want a new coach, quit on the players, write Calipari's family on social media, and only post on this board when UK loses.
