coaching issues - clearly
Today’s colder but the first day we’ve seen the sun in a week. And we’ve had rain and snow all week.
Amazing the field never looks this good in December…..it usually looks like a frozen swamp.

Yeah. I think it was Brisker that blitzed, which left the center of the field wide open.
The Eagles are trying their hardest to replicate the Washington loss. Will Siriani fix the offensive play calls? It’s 10 degrees out there. They can’t throw the ball all game.
I think Parsons and possibly MRob got in the head of Sirianni this week. He is trying to prove Hurts is the reason for their success. The Eagles have the best OL in NFL, 2 great WRs, Sanders at RB and that defense. Is it Hurts or is it the entire team? It was not smart for Micah to make those comments but MRob even questioned Hurts legit MVP status after the Bills game last night. He stated Bills would not be the same team without Allen. He was questioning if the Eagles would be that much different without Hurts.
Perhaps it's RPO reads that are causing it, but I'm not crazy about Hurts running this much when it's this late in the season, and when it's really cold in Chicago. There are RBs on the Eagles' roster, and in the backfield. If the Birds are not passing on a play, I'd prefer to see the RBs carrying the ball in the 2nd half

The Eagles should just run and run and run and run Da’ Bears got rid of their two best defenders and are very vulnerable to the run!

Well, I don't want to get into an argument with your wife, but the Philadelphia region is a great place to live.

3rd & 2 and the Birds go for a long pass to Watkins that is incomplete. Get the 1st down, keep the chains moving, and keep the D on the sidelines. I didn't like the play call at this point in the game.
I don’t know what the Eagles struggle most with the Midwest teams who have horrible records.
Birds go for it on 4th & 6, Hurts with a pass attempt to A.J. Brown who was tightly covered, and it's incomplete. smh. I don't disagree with going for it (they were in Bears' territory), but I was not impressed with the execution or decision making. Brown was a yard or so short of the 1st down, so even if it was a completion it's questionable if the Birds would have gotten the 1st.
Hurts is playing poorly today. The sack on 2nd down was atrocious. And they’re going to punt from their own 3 in a moment. Sigh.
