Duke vs Virginia

Why does this duke team always look so dominant against lesser teams and then when we play a team that’s average or above average we just look awful. Between Virginia tech and Virginia , both games at home by the way, everyone just looks terrible. The defense was slow to start, but they always pick it up. Our offense just can’t move the ball. I feel bad that our defense is seemingly out there almost the entire game
I’d rather have Harris throwing the long ball. Jones throws it into double coverage way too much. It’s almost like he enjoys it

I’m like you, I want to win the game, don’t care who plays, but 18 (other than a gimmick play)will not see the field unless DJ can’t walk.
Of course not. But cut made the mistake of bringing dj back way too early against vt, when qh was doing well enough, and ever since he’s been brought back I feel like our offense stopped clicking. My feelings remain the same, I trust Harris more on the deep route than I do Jones at the moment.
I’ve gotta wonder if that collar bone is affecting jones.
It was a dumba$$ mistake, they were going to throw the flag anyway. The special team play today has been less than stellar, more like abysmal.
There we go. Daniel Jones throws it away again. Absolutely no reason to. This game was still winnable. Our defense needed a break. This team deserves better. The Daniel Jones experiment needs to end. We just need a qb that can take care of the ball at this point. Virginia has owned time of possession today.
and even the tarholes are managing to find a way to win. What a miserable start to this Saturday.
I'm done wasting my energy, these db's are disgraceful. What an absolutely pathetic performance by the offense. This is a very similar game to the GT game, just without the 3 fumbles. Embarrassing.
I shouldn’t have turned this crap on. Finally on tv and this is what I get? Losing to UVA is damn near as bad as UNC to me ....

My first time watching becuase it’s never on tv here, but what I see is 2 very vanilla boring bad teams lol ....it hurts me to say that, and maybe I’m just used to watching the big games and yea ....but man just vanilla looking football.
Make no mistake about it. Our offense is the reason we lost this game. Time or possession 38 minutes for Virginia with 22 minutes for duke. Virginia will be seven minutes shy of having the ball for 3 quarters. I applaud the duke defense for making the score reasonable. You just can’t win when your offense can’t stay on the field at home
