Jayson Tatum led Boston with 41 points (5-of-10) from 3 in a 127-116 win over Charlotte. Mark Williams had 11 and 12 rebounds in the loss.

Paolo Banchero scored 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds while Wendell Carter, Jr. added 14 and six rebounds in a 107-103 loss to Miami.

Of the top 9 guys on this list, 7 are 25 years old or younger. The NBA is going to be a great place for Duke kids for a long time to come.

I would take issue with Grayson being ahead of Tyus. Yes grayson starts for a really good team, but he's basically a non-factor in like 3/4 of his games. Tyus is a stud and could be starting on a playoff bound NBA team if he wasn't behind all-world Ja Morant.

Gary Trent has exceeded my expectations. Good for him!

So has Seth Curry. His numbers are outstanding!

I am disappointed for Vernon Carey. I thought he'd develop into a decent pro. He seems to be Europe bound.

I wish that most of these guys had been at Duke more than about 8 months.

There just isn't much room in today's NBA for slow-footed big men, unfortunately. Tim Duncan was the last of a dying breed. Jahlil Okafor, Jabari Parker.... those guys had big offensive games but they just couldn't really compete in today's NBA game in the way people thought they could. I think Vernon Carey is probably a less talented version of either of those guys, so it won't shock me if he can't carve out an NBA career. But i hope he proves me wrong. i've been wrong plenty on this board, one more time won't hurt.

If that is true why was Carey a one and done? I get going after the money but why did everyone seem to think he had to go pro? Why did Cassius Stanley have to go pro? I know he was older but the guy's a trivia question now.
