Not the worst thing in the world
Bardo was not willing to bury Juan for the rest of his life and tossed out a remark
not to just give up
Juan probably will coach again even if fired here and it remains to be seen if he learned anything from all this

I noticed it too. Don’t know what his intention was but it came off very awkward. Bardo is a positive guy, so perhaps he was saying it in a “yeah you messed up but keep your head up”, but again, just awkward. Probably better to leave things unsaid in a moment like that

Why should it bother anybody? I am of the opinion that Howard behaved extremely immaturely and, if I were UM's president, I'd probably fire him at this point. I'm pretty sure he's on thin ice with the school as it stands now.

Having said that, I hold no animosity towards the guy. Where's the value to any of us to heap hate on others? The best outcome from all this is that Howard matures, learns to control his emotions better, and things improve for him.

There's never anything wrong with wishing the best for people. Even if you think he's an *******, there's nothing wrong with hoping that ******** work through their issues and learn be non-******** in the future.

I like Bardo, always has given Rutgers decent props. But at one point he said ‘shout out to Juan Howard, hang in there big guy’. I took it as he thought the suspension was undeserving, like he didn’t do anything that wrong.
yeah seriously that was ridiculous. Howard is lucky that he wasn't fired like he deserved. Its not like he caught covid or got cancer, he committed battery on another coach.

You expected Howard to be canned? The fact that Michigan hired him, and he was one of the $616000 Fab Five, is amazing. I can’t imagine Rutgers ever doing that. Does Howard at least have a Bachelor’s degree? Eddie Jordan went back to school.

I think he should have a chance to be better. But he should be and probably will be on very thin ice. I don’t see an issue wishing him well tbh

didn't expect him to be fired, but he should have been.

that's why the commentator telling him to keep his head up and wishing him well was ludicrous.
