Any program with standards eats its own at different points, as well as lionizing their own when things go right. It works that way in basketball and football. Just three years ago, UNC fans were saying Williams should be fired. Then they go to back-to-back title games and win one in the process. Now amongst some of those same UNC fans, Williams is being hailed as the second greatest coach in the modern era.
Your accusation against the UK fanbase is baseless. You make it sound like there is equity amongst college basketball fan bases, one that creates some form of sample size from which to judge the overall tone of this thread. Not even apples and oranges on this one. Apples and elephants, maybe, in terms of expectations at UK and the lack thereof at other programs.
Bringing in a team of non-transcendent freshmen is what killed this team. There just isn’t enough seasoned talent with this group, and not enough transcendent freshmen, not in a year when the SEC is the best overall conference.
Diallo is a big problem, but you’re right, he’s not the only problem.
Who knows, maybe his attitude does a 180 and he leads this team to the Final Four. It could happen.
Nope. I was ok with Briscoe. It seemed like he tried to lead. Just wasn't good at it. And seemed to hustle.

Your right, but I and other UK fans I know think he appears to play selfishly at times. Maybe that's not what it is, maybe he just doesn't know what else to do at times. I'm pretty sure I read last night was only the 2nd time in 15 games we had more assist than TO's. I like the combo of SGA and Green as our guards.
