My way teaches them that you have to do what you are supposed to do as a minimum and that even them you arent entitled to anything. You are the ones who elected a child and are now mad that nobody will give him his toys.

Your logic is absolutely maddening to me on this. THEY HAD 2 YEARS to do something....they did nothing. Now we are just going to let a President hold our government/economy hostage whenever they don't get their way...like WTF?

When President Woke demands 1 trillion dollars to beat global warming and shuts down the government, you're going to be fine with giving him/her/nongendered $20 bn and a tougher EPA for some fuel tax credits and call it a compromise? PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTT

Logic. Can you change what happened for the past 2 years? No. You can only address things going forward. So stop worrying about what he did/didn't do for the past 2 years. Worry about what you can control and change NOW and going forward. And stop expecting him to act in a manner that YOU find suitable. You sound like the woman who keeps expecting her man to change.... it ain't happening.

No, but a preventable disaster would. Or if by some strange happening an increasing number of Hispanic voters turn to voting Republican. That would be pretty ironic if that voting block decided they liked security or the economy. Wonder if the recent NPR poll was an indication of frustration in that voting block. They may not want more caravans either.

You did say he was for open borders, and now you give him a homework assignment over some article before you'll buy into his claim about his own political stance? You go down this path with so many people, yet you don't return the favor. When pushed, you dodge or assign homework for someone else. People are going to have differing OPINIONS on politics and political issues. You need to get past this "one solution based entirely on the facts I choose to accept" philosophy.
