I hope when we get back to this level people will not ***** about getting beat. Nebraska had a couple periods like Oklahoma is having
It would be nice...but remember, if they never do, our lives really won't be any worse because of it. No reason, as a grown man, to tie your identity to a bunch of 18-23 year-olds playing a game.
With every post you make you sound more and more like a Hawkeye fan. Sorry, that’s just what it sounds like to me.
He’s not a Nebraska fan, I have no doubt about that. If he was, that would be tying his “identity” to said 18-23 year olds or posting on a Husker message board about said team and those 18-23 year olds.
Could be an Iowa fan but I’m pretty sure he’s a Colorado Buffalo fan. Check his post history and you’ll see that him and I have gotten into it starting around the time of Nebraska vs Colorado this year.
He’s definitely not a Husker fan. He just comes on this board to troll, start crap, spread negativity.
In the threads we happen to both be in, I’ve never seen anything positive about our team in his posts. Zero, nada, zilch. Low rent is what he is.
Back to that level? You have never been to that level since the playoffs began. This isn't the mythical title days, you actually have to earn it on the field now.

I joined on October 23, 2019.......6.5 weeks later.
Not sure how you and I got into it around the time of the game when I wasn't on here until a month and a half after the game had been played.....but I guess you live in your own world.

Tell you what....explain how it is that we were getting into it at the time of the Nebraska-Colorado game when I didn't join this board until over 6 weeks after that game (or admit that you made that part up, because anyone with a minimal understanding of calendars knows that what you're claiming is bogus), and I'll tell you who my team is. 4 Years if you ask me.. Dabo went 11-2 in 2012 after hiring Venables after losing to West Virginia 70-33..
7 years to build a nation championship juggernaut, but only 4 years to start winning 10+ games per season.
1) Actually, it is kind of the point. It's only been 3.5 months since the game, and you were off by 1.5 months when it (whatever "it" is.....I don't recall ever saying how awesome CU's team is...I do recall defending a CU fan friend of mine that has been a friend longer than this board has been around) occurred. Now, if you can show us when I talked about how much I love CU, and how awesome their current team is, then feel free to show us. I seriously hope you have more proof than me sticking up for a friend that happens to be a CU fan...or just not hating CU (or anyone else) enough for your satisfaction.
2) But, alas, you're not a mod, so apparently your opinion on the issue, or whether or not I belong here, isn't relevant.
3) Yes, I'm a Nebraska fan. However:
- I recognize that Nebraska isn't the team it once was, and that what happened in the 90s has no bearing of whether or not Nebraska should beat Indiana, Purdue, Colorado, or whoever in 2019.
- I'm not sold on Frost.
- ALL fan bases, be it Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa, Wisconsin, or whoever, have their share of good fans, and have their share of morons....and that the last 15 years has shown me that we live in a glass house when it comes to fan behavior....more than we want to admit.
- I can respect and appreciate what other schools do and accomplish. I respect what Bill Snyder and Bill McCartney did as coaches for their programs. If you don't like it, that's your problem, not mine.
- Lastly, and most importantly.....your opinion of me as a fan doesn't matter. You don't dictate what is and isn't a fan, and you are not the judge of what is and isn't a contribution to this board. You're free to have an opinion, just like I am....you know how that saying goes.

I’m thinking you’re probably more scared for your real team’s sake that Frost would be the one that rally Husker Nation, recruit well, and field a quality football team that we haven’t seen in over 20 years.
There is no reason why if Frost is allowed to build this program we can’t be capable of competing with teams in the West for a chance to play in the B1G Championship game. We may not win them all but we’ll be competitive. We have the resources and the fan support. This fan base has always been there even through 20 years of ineptness. If you’re a true Husker fan and you don’t believe that we can get back to being competitive against the teams in our division, then you’re a fool. All of this leads me to believe you are a fan of another team and you are very nervous.
