It doesn't reduce to $1 million until July I think.

As bad as I'd hate to see it, I think any number of coaches could have IU back to prominence pretty quickly. All you have to do is be an above average bench coach and get some of the instate talent to stick around each year, and you have a perennial top 10-15 team.

We've actually been fortunate that IU has managed to screw this up as bad as they have the last few decades. It shouldn't have been possible.

I know this has been reported as untrue, but there is no way he would ever do that on his own volition.

Same Tom Crean who I love to hate, and to make general fun of, is also the guy who coached the team that dispatched UK from NCAA Tournament last year, no? Hate him, but some respect have to give him.
