Crean is a bad fit for Indiana. He's not of that Caliber. Hell, he wasn't of that Caliber when they hired him.

Crea would work well somewhere like Vanderbilt, Missouri, Clemson etc. He would probably have competitive teams and make some tournaments. He's not a terrible floor coach when he gets out of his own way. Just pretend every game is against UK.

If I were a football school in the SEC I'd make the hire.

And smoking him yearly would be great.

Someone passed along information in a tweet that was corrupted along the way. The message ended up showing up as, "Tom Crean stepping down from podium after receiving lifetime achievement award as coach of IU." Highlight the missing part to get the uncorrupted message. It's amazing how much different a message is when there is a glitch and some of the words are left out. That original message would mean something a little bit different than it was supposed to and I could understand the confusion, even though it is unwarranted. Long live Coach Tom Crean.

He is of a different caliber. That is why he has to work so hard to keep those pants up around his neck. Can't get a belt to fit that bore. I've always thought of him as a few grains short of a load though.

He was in Northern KY tonight. He went to Cov Cath to recruit. So, he's at least planning on being at IU next year anyway.


He had his son with him and I heard UK fans were giving him ****. I love it!

Crean isn't going anywhere. They're not going to waste the money this year, the AD loves him, and if they wait another year the buyout will be peanuts. If they haven't fired him already, that means the fans aren't going crazy, and therefore since he's the love child of the AD and president he's good.

I just hope that next year he makes a sweet 16 or wins the Big10. As crazy as it sounds, Indiana would extend him another 3/4 years. Crazy sht in Bloomington. Acceptance of absolute mediocrity.

They should collect Crean's sperm and dispense it across Indiana in pregnancy clinics.

Don't remember where I heard it, but I think there is a rift between IU and Alford and he's "persona non grata".
