If cal resigns or is fired, who are legitimate options to replace him?

Bennet from Virginia comes to mind. I doubt jay wright would be interested but worth sniffing around. Again long shot but could sniff around brad stevens.

what are other good options?

Pearl, Musselman, Few, Tommy Lloyd and as a last resort...Pitino.

Cal is still owed well over $60 million more on his current contract. We can’t afford to fire him, and no chance he’s walking away from that kind of money.

Like it or not, he ain’t going anywhere. If you don’t like it, take it up with Mitch.

Tommy Lloyd love the international players and he could be had. Chris Holtman is a KY GUY through and through but his teams are underachieving. How about McMahon from Murray State

He has a $60 Million dollar buyout if we fire him. Cal isn’t going anywhere.

Ugghhh this is not how it’s going to go. Calipari cannot keep a job that everyone and his bosses want him to lose. He’s not going to live day after day being seen as a loser holding a school to a contract. It’s too much pressure and his ego is too big to take those kinds of hits. He’s not me or you.

He doesn’t have to have the full amount. He’s got plenty of room to go after next season in a buyout. Calipari will absolutely walk away with over ONE HUNDRED MILLION dollars and a buyout. He’s won’t be concerned with all of it he’s made too much and will continue to do so somewhere else. Y’all need to quit talking about this issue like it’s gospel. It’s actually probably the opposite of what you keep saying.

What I’ve been saying for years and because people fall for his sales routine they don’t hear it. He will try hurt the program on the way out if he’s pissed. He’s not the guy that’s largely portrayed. We need to be careful.

Back up the truck to Jay Wright and beg him to give it a go for 5 years.

The landscape for transcendental coaches is abysmal right now (see IU, UNC, Duke, etc.).

If Wright is a no go, put out feelers for Donovan, Musselman or Lloyd (who won't be leaving that gig for this one).

If it's all system failure, call Pearl or hold your nose with Oats.
