Portal. I'm speechless. And we were told SHU would be competive with NIL.
Why? It’s like this for every team, not just seton hall. It’s more tough to renew season tickets each and every year
Hope Felt and Sha realize this

Game done changed.Another massive failure by Seton Hall. To lose the entire core of a team that was on the cusp of turning the corner is pathetic.
They’re awful quiet latelyTo the select few who drink the Seton Hall Kool Aid. You guys better start sharing or else we're going to lose a lot of season ticket holders.
oh okay. Maybe we can get a big man who runs the floor, blocks shots, posts up and can hit mid range jumpers too while we’re at it. Certainly they’re not expensive.Bring in a pg who can shoot
Cooler heads didn't prevail.
It’s time for Shaheen, the AD, and school leadership to have a meeting of the minds. I wouldn’t call it a sit down due to the inherent negative implications. But something needs to be done.can you elaborate on this
SHU does not have the financial resources to compete against bigger programs with far wealthier donors. That is the reality we are up against. Money doesn't grow on trees. It has to be donated to support our NIL budget. They’re awful quiet lately
Does it? Maybe this is their plan. It’s time for Shaheen, the AD, and school leadership to have a meeting of the minds. I wouldn’t call it a sit down due to the inherent negative implications. But something needs to be done.
You realize he was the first real point guard Seton Hall had since Jordan Theodore. Maybe you make an argument for Whitehead but he was really a lead guard. In any event, it’s been ages since we had a real point guard and now he’s gone.IMO, this is a win for seton hall. You can’t overpay for a pg who can’t shoot in 2026. However, I would’ve brought him back for continuity. Jerry Carin reported his agent asked for ridiculous amount of money. He and I don’t think he will get it
How can anyone be surprised by this? Just look at the last three years. Did you really expect it to be different?
It’s not a matter of value…it’s a matter of actual dollarsi’m not surprised and i’m withholding my knives until we learn more, namely what Sha felt Clark’s value was.
But, if that is the market price for a so-called PG who can't shoot...and we can't afford that price....how in the world can we afford the market price of a PG that CAN shoot?IMO, this is a win for seton hall. It’s 2026 I don’t want a lead guard. I want a scoring guard! And uhhh the last real point guard we had was KadaryYou realize he was the first real point guard Seton Hall had since Jordan Theodore. Reading in between the lines of Carino’s article it seems that it is not the market price for a pg who can’t shoot. It seems he and his agent are shooting for the stars. Maybe he gets it, maybe he doesn’t.But, if that is the market price for a so-called PG who can't shoot...and we can't afford that price....how in the world can we afford the market price of a PG that CAN shoot?
I am not sure everyone puts the full picture together....we simply cannot compete in this new world order they call college basketball.
Cannot do it.
Period.
End of story.
We could hire Danny Hurley tomorrow and guess what? We cannot compete! It is irrelevant so long as the economics are what they are (and keep rising) and our finances are where they are.
I hate typing this even as I do, but that is the harsh reality.
Can we find a diamond in the rough? Of course we can. Can we find 5? Can we win Mega Millions? Odds may be similar...
Sad to say but you are correct. The handwriting has been on the wall for a while now. The Hines and Clark exits are further proof. We are chasing our tail. But, if that is the market price for a so-called PG who can't shoot...and we can't afford that price....how in the world can we afford the market price of a PG that CAN shoot?

Another great 3 point shooter....not.It’s 2026 I don’t want a lead guard. I want a scoring guard! And uhhh the last real point guard we had was Kadary
it only takes 1.....Reading in between the lines of Carino’s article it seems that it is not the market price for a pg who can’t shoot. It seems he and his agent are shooting for the stars. Maybe he gets it, maybe he doesn’t.![]()
We need 15 mil and that ain't happening. I know people are talking chump change of 10 mil but that does not buy you into the tourney.Gotta get the money, period
No way to sugarcoat this one. Feeder program. We had a chance to change our brand by holding onto our top players and blew it big time - AGAIN!
Yeah, a whole week on the job, what has he been doing, LOL?And for those who lobbied for a GM what good has that done as far as us keeping key players? Nada. And guess what we will be staring over every year and so a GM is not really impactful.
Budd really didn't want to return to Seton Hall?can you elaborate on this
