Was hoping to have a conversation. I do have to go, now, so a few things:
(1) just curious how you know what everytone thinks?
(2) you know what I think is insecure: hating on a program and wishing their wrestlers lose due to jealousy. Furthermore, always looking for the worst in them or their actions. Who's insecure, dipshit?
Did you respond to yourself? lmao
Like I said before, rather than enjoying your teams historic performance and the 4 individual champs that came along with it, you for some reason felt the need to try to police how other people watched and enjoyed the night? What a weird compulsion / victim complex you have. I really hope that you can someday find true joy in your life, for your own sake

Your this pissed about a kid who turned 19 in October running roughshod over the NCAA field?

Really?

No I'm disappointed in the fairy tale they are trying to sell that he was a plucky high school kid that graduated early just to jump to college and beat all these college guys. He's where he should've been all along now agewise rather than still being a senior in high school with kids who can't vote yet. Just tell the truth, it's a good enough story on it's own. But don't pretend he did something special graduating early when he was already too old for his grade.

Did you feel better when he was our world team rep last year as a junior?

5th straight team title for the good guys, 4 individual champs and the the third straight year they break the scoring record. Also they are losing one wrestler. So stay tuned for next year. WE ARE PENN ST. Ps 89 points out of first place peaking!

Why do you all find the need to make posts like this on the Iowa and Oklahoma State boards?

Penn State fans in the arena are decent humans, but man the online PSU fans are insecure and act like this sport only started once Cael left Ames.

I think the way it looks one of his insecurities is worrying about what others think when they do not respond quickly enough so he has to respond to his own posts.

See, now that's a great story for them to tell. Would've also added some context to where he already was before he enrolled second semester (and they may have mentioned that and I missed it). Had he been 18 competing in the U17s then we'd have an issue lol. Chinese Taipei was a hell of a little league baseball dynasty when they were 15-16 years old playing 11-12 year olds.

Age sure did'nt help Bastida tonight.... that one surprised me. Dresser has to be screaming about his lad choosing down.

He was held back a year that is accurate so he is not your typical high school senior
Wait, does anyone think Jax is the first guy to be old for his grade??? No, he's the first guy to say F high school (in January), imma go win a natty!

See the difference?

Surprised by that as well. Far be it from me to say something nice about a Cyclone but I do wish he'd have stayed healthy two years ago when he and Kerkvliet were on a collision course for the title. That would've been a toss up of a match.

I think he was trying to say that through your childish tirade it's safe to assume that you're probably hung up on your unsuccessful high school wrestling career that never panned out for you, the pathetic thing hanging between your legs, your mediocre pathetic job or perhaps a complete lack thereof.. you clearly live a pretty small life...... but hey you are tearing it up here bud, congrats!

Your team won, and the immediate future for you guys looks very bright. Go enjoy that with actual people instead of this pathetic thing you're doing on an anonymous board.

Well I'm an OSU fan so my in person experience may be different, but the PSU online fans are terrible.

Iowa and OSU tend to be for the most part respectful to each other especially when you all visit Stillwater and tailgate. You have a few knuckleheads, but man PSU fans online are something else.

Mitchell likes to act like some nice, respectful, Jesus loving guy but when things don’t go his way his true self starts to show. Doesn’t happen often cause of how good he is but every time things don’t go his way his true self starts to show. Dudes an absolute beast but he is a weird *** dude and if anyone in college wrestling ever turned into a serial killer he would be at the top of the list. I don’t blame Mikey for not shaking his hand; he sees through the fake bullsh!t.

I’m with Hawkalum, it’s impressive, but Jax is an older than average college freshman. It’s just a fact.
Haines just turned 21 for example. I grew up in an area near a school at some claim invented Richard. Their football jerseys were colored red by the way it was common at many of these guys were wanted two years older than a normal age for particular grade. And honestly back then it was considerably meant to be some sort of cheating.
Some of you guys might not recall, but some schools added each limits for high school participation. I believe many put it in 19. Of course this is 50 years or more ago, but Richard Sheridan wasn't always looked upon as no big deal. I'll be better prepared for a sport.

That one about redshirting was voice text, I just got up. But honestly, when I was a kid a lot of people look down on returning. We're talking approximately 50 years ago and yes, some dude claimed that a local high school invented red shirt because they had guys playing for them that were well 18,19+ years of age.

It's one of the reasons why back in the 70s states were starting to impose age limits for sports participation. And yes, the local team did wear red jerseys and that's why many people claim the term redshirting came from what they were doing.

Straight up Ted Kaczynski/Ed Kemper vibes when he started talking whatever psychology, grounding himself and meshing stuff together. Add in his fake nice guy persona and you start to get a lot of traits of a killer. PSU is going for the black out on the bingo card for characters in that room.

I agree with Ironside on the Valencia TD, Angel should've let that play out for a few more seconds to avoid a challenge.

Either way that kid was damn impressive in this tournament. Congrats to him! He brung it.
He did indeed. 10 seed to a title and he was go, go, go. Impressive as hell.

As for the takedown, I don't think a referee should be thinking about challenges, if you see the criteria for a takedown you reward it when you think it happens cause it can change in a heartbeat. But I get your point as well, that's why it's tough as hell being a referee in any sport. (sort of like the HWT. match where I thought it was a 3-2 sequence for Bastida and Trumble, but nope, only 3 for Trumble which I think was ultimately the right call, so they got that one right, but in the moment it was tough). Didn't realize Trumble was such a beast. Tough S.O.B.
