For someone that has scored over 2000 points, Kellan sure is scared to shoot it.
I’d rather see Brooks shoot a 14 foot set shot than a two-foot contested shot.

DA got switched off on a little guard who beat him to the left resulting in a pass and a basket. He came right out of the game. Next time down same guard puts the same move on Wheeler and drains a 3. Just sayin’

Absolutely incredible start. Play like that and they are a Final Four team.
Got pretty sloppy and took some bad shots after the hot start. Shot 11/12 to start the game and then just 9/26 to end the half.

Brooks really needs to learn to kick it back out... he's still forcing it, almost like he's taking it apon himself to carry the team, but the team doesn't need carrying...
Great half but not sure it means much against this type of team. But they are doing what they should do taking care of business.
I worry when competition stiffens that he will struggle even more. He's really loose with the ball in the post.

When does he ever “have it”. He is one of the most handicapped scorers in UK history. I love how hard he competes, but has no clue how to make a shot outside of a dunk.
Glad we get our 7th game of these out of the way after the next game. Does absolutely nothing for us playing so many of these.
Brooks just isn't a guy that can be grimy in traffic under the basket and ever find the bottom of the net. Its like he doesn't have the energy and power/athleticism to outmuscle and get it in, doesn't have the touch to just get a funky shot to ever drop, and doesn't have the patience or craftyness to fake and lay in or draw fouls.

So Brooks can throw up any shot he wants, Wheeler gambles on a steal and gives up a three, Grady gets lost and gives up a wide open shot…but Allen you’re out!
