If Clark continues bau AND has a game like tonight in one of the games against the Lynx, I think she could make a pretty compelling argument.
I agree with this, based on the level of competition tonight, and their overall record (Home and away).

In the first five games she was averaging 24 and 9…is that slow? After 10 games she was averaging almost 20 and 8. Yet she wasn’t in the top 10???
To me her turnovers were out of control and she was shooting 35%. She was really propped up by her 100% free throw percentage (which shouldn’t be discounted.)

In her best game (32 points) she needed 28 shots. Went 7-17 from 3. That means she went 3-11 in her layup/midrange.

Top 10-12 ain’t bad, I just don’t think she really turned it on until mid-late June.

She got injured, missed a few games, had a minutes restriction and those numbers dropped. The first 5 games is the start of the season, not the beginning. Let's just see what a healthy CC can do in the finish of the season.

Here are the final opponents for the playoff teams,

Golden State does not play a single team on the list so if they sweep those than MN will need to win 2 of 5 to hold the #1 seed, which could end up with them needing at least 1 of the games against the Fever.

Minnesota: ATL, NY, CONN, IND, IND
Golden State: PORT, PORT, SEA,, PORT, LA
Las Vegas: SEA, SEA, LA, PHX
Indiana: TOR, WASH, MN, MN
Atlanta: MN, CONN, CHI, NY, NY
Washington: CHI, IND, CONN, CHI
Dallas: CONN. LA, PHX, PHX, SEA
New York: CHI, MN, TOR, ATL, ATL

From what I see, the Fever only have 4 regular season games left. I missed that, at first. If they can split with the Lynx, that would be nice. Oh, and win the other 2.

I was proud of you. But now, it's 2 steps forward, and 1 step back. Comparing the W to the NBA?????

The haters won't let you say Caitlin scored more points than any man or woman in college, IT'S DIFFERENT.

But then compare men and women in the pros. No big deal men do it all the time.

😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂 😹

Hate on haters.

He's just playing his usual dumb A-- because I reminded him that Clark did in FACT break the mens all time scoring record (even though she can't "officially" ever hold the record because she's not a man). Pretty much apples to watermelons though since the Fever have played 40-41 games and the NBA guys play 82+ the playoffs, But @Legend12 has to be that guy, so.....
It's all those years of drinking the water in Ames that does it.

Posting late - was traveling yesterday and watched late last night. Cc was incredible. Could have had 20 assists. Km had a sweet dish and was also incredible. Boston wasn’t dominant, they played a bad first quarter, and they still scored 111. Such a fun team to watch.

Ya if you look at the final score you’d never guess they were down by nearly 20.

Clark had a monster start to the 4th. She also had a few steals which turned momentum big time.

This year reminds me of her junior year at Iowa. The longer the year went on, the more dominant, confident and team chemistry was developed and generated. I think the Fever play for a championship this season, if they are healthy heading into the post season. We shall see.
That’s a good observation.
