I just checked Google, and it's illegal for defenders to hold hands to prevent opposing players from getting past them. So if anyone here has other ideas for the Fever to shore up their perimeter, let us hear them.

Seems like a lot of defensive fundamentals are missing in this league. Lots of reaching and grabbing goes uncalled. What happened to the principle of vertical space above a player? I see arms draped over offensive players all the time, especially under/near the basket.

Totally rings true in this case. She has to shout from the rooftops about how great she is in setting records. Meanwhile the person she’s been obsessed with doesn’t talk about any of her records unless she’s asked about them, and even then doesn’t gloat.
Crazy thing is that she has some serious talent, and is now on a team that will take advantage of it. But if she’d just turn down the ego she’d be a lot more likable to most sports fans.
All she had to do was not be an a**hole in the NCG when they won. It was that simple.

Angel's press conferences and interviews are often comically horrific from a personal PR standpoint and we all know how CC is almost always on the other end of that spectrum. I get that the rivalry between the 2 causes Angel to say some incredibly dumb things, but she doesn't limit it to just CC. Someone once asked her about going up against Aja Wilson and Angel made sure the person asking the question understood that both Aja AND Angel were great players. She can find a slight in a question as easy as CC can find a passing angle on the court.
Angel has had very little PR training (MD tried with her, but she was resistant to accepting help) whereas CC has been getting training and practicing interviews since she was a freshman in high school, and you can see how those experiences, or lack thereof, are playing out in their media and social media interactions today.
At some point I think CC will be more open about how she really feels about things and let more of her personality show, but I doubt Angel will ever be able to tone things down and realize that the world isn't always against her.
I think you're overthinking it. In the end, I think it just comes down to the fact she's just not a smart person. Not her fault, but she's clearly an idiot.
