I didn't want to start a new thread about this, so here it is. I like watching the Fever in the summer, but my passion is Iowa women's basketball. I look forward to this forum leaving the WNBA behind and getting back to college ball.

I am NOT suggesting a separate forum for the WNBA threads. et's see how things develop for awhile.

So the guys been awarded 15 international humanitarian awards (some by some pretty prestigious entities). Was this all just so he could gather attention for himself?
That's the question they can't answer or won't answer.

Of course he wasn't seeking attention for himself but for the causes he cared about and therefore received so many awards.

Until the naysayers can somehow explain his sudden turnabout in seeking merely personal notoriety it's all just fart noises.

Every team has figured out the same game plan against the Fever: dribble past the perimeter defender, throw the entire defense into disarray, and find someone for a wide-open shot or layup. If Indiana can figure out a way to stop that from happening every single possession they have a chance to go far in the playoffs. As it is, they usually look like panicking doofuses on defense. It's vexing.

At times it looks like a soup sandwich. Late on closeouts, no closeout, and no baseline help defense. Throw in some weak perimeter defense, giving the shooter too much space, and yeah, it looks disorganized for certain.

I hate what this thread has become.
That is all.
I'm taking a break.
Good luck to the sane people 👍.
I don't know if you'd count me in the sane or insane column, but this is probably the smartest thing posted all day.

I'm going to do the same, for a little while at least.

I present the1976 Olympic gold metal winning swim relay team from East Germany. I think our society has become a bit too nuanced. It's really not that hard.
