***CC22 and the Fever mega thread***

Olivia Miles, the new face of the WNBA, blew up the stat sheet tonight. 13 pts on 3/13 shooting, 6-7 on FTs, 1/3 on 3s. But 7 assists and only TWO turnovers which is the real indicator as to why Miles is already in a category "miles" above Caitlin Clark..................

This may upset some people by being blunt, Miles is a much better fit for the present WNBA than Clark. She checks all the boxes.

I have not tracked it but I hear a lot about the league not crediting CC with assists. Well, certain ones. She obviously gets a ton but the thinking is she should have more.

Not sure where you’re hearing that. I think there’s been several times that the statisticians have been generous with assist scoring. That is likely league wide though, not just a CC thing.

As to CC turnovers - it just dawned on me - maybe I am slow. But if a team shoots 50%, then 4 turnovers will equal 4 points. So if you get 10 assists that is at least 20 points, but really a few more. So CC goes 20-10-4 and that is 20 pts off of assists and giving 4-6 off of turnovers. Sounds pretty impressive to me.

I will be totally honest and tell you I am a fan of about two or three youtubers. one of them is keep the vision. he goes on whitlocks show as a guest so that probably disqualifies him in many eyes around here. ben daniels { I think is his name} is good too, I noticed him quoted on here. Anywhos, I watch keep the vision while the game is on, and the comment live section has what looks to be several hawk fans because they have hawkeye in their user name, and they say it. they will say, "there goes another assist for CC not credited" now, half the time they are making fun of missed layups to be sure. but I have seen them say it on other shots that went in.

This is what folks don't understand. You Tube has come a long way from it's inception. People still must use common sense and good judgement to get to the truth however. The W and coaches like SW, hate that they are being exposed for questionable behavior. MSM rarely does this, so fans know there are other ways to gain information.

I’m asking you. I don’t hate the women’s game because I don’t compare it to the men’s game. How would a women’s baseball team do against the Dodgers? Or the top women’s tennis player against the men? We already know the answer. I’m not sure what you’re expecting. This is the best they’ve got and CC is one of them. I enjoy watching the Fever, the Lynx, the Valkyrie’s and the Aces. Not sure why we have to constantly try to compare to the men. Again, if you hate it so much stop watching. Or posting every 2 minutes about it.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to say. She’s getting 10 assists almost every game now. People aren’t going to catch every pass she throws and score. They just aren’t. While we make fun of the league there are some darn good and athletic defenders guarding her. Her and Mitchell plus Boston play incredibly off of each other. CC is by far the most creative passer in the legit she also throws a lot of tough passes to teammates she shouldn’t. You can’t expect these ladies to catch every pass and score. Because it also doesn’t happen in the NBA either.

I've watched Monica Czinano make tons of catches these "pros" cant.. same with layups. It's amazing to watch pros hit the bottom of the rim on a layup
