Aja is obviously a huge loss, but I like Citron's game better than Plum's for international play.

Agree 100%. Citron is a really nice young player without all the mileage that Plum has.

What's troubling is that The Athletic is a respected media agency. How those clowns were hired is more troubling.

This! Here's the other problem. Since pretty much everyone has some kind of podcast now ( and I have no idea who actually listens to something like this) there's really zero pushback with facts. The Athletic has some great writers but some of these podcasts are insanely bad.

She might be a hall of famer, but to call her a generational talent with at least 15 players better than her (1-2 on her own team) would be insane.
