She was hurt all of last season. I have no idea why you think I’m dancing around the question. If she had stayed healthy with Howard at Power forward they were a legitimate contender to win the whole thing. Again, she’s averaging 39 pts between pts and assists so they’re not taking away opportunities from her. Schemes? They are one of if not the fastest paced teams in the league. Does that not suit her style? You guys act like teams are just going to let her do whatever she wants. The other team is going to do everything they can to take her away and also force her to play D.
So your statement is that 1) they made solid decisions in the off season, (again) to put more complimentary pieces around her, 2) putting her "off the ball" and having Boston and Hines-Allen bring the ball up court is a good decision, and plays to her strengths? Okay then'
As to the other statement, about her averaging being responsible for 39 points /GM (so around 35-40% of their offense), you do realize she had a bunch of games at Iowa (even playing with a 20+ points/GM AA in Monica) where she was responsible for in the 70's percentile, including several games in the NCAA tournament against some of the elite teams in college basketball. Even against S Carolina her rate was in the 70+% of offense generated. And no I don't think in an average game she's playing against better players then she did in those final 4 games the last two seasons. Sorry, but while there are certainly some really good players, (as there were at S Carolina, LSU, OSU etc..) there are a lot of really average players in the league as well.
