There are many circumstances that many of the athletes have to deal with. Having said that, Willis has learned from his mistake but it wasn't a charge of battery. Need I say more?

I don't know Willis was ALL over that pavement...(Sorry had to do it...)

That school in Lawrence, wow! I'm glad Cal actually runs a clean program. He doesn't have to take chances on guys like Bragg, Alexander or the Morris twins. Ever since Self got to KU, that program has been dirty as hell. Just off the top of my head, you have the following incidents:

1) The JR Giddins moon bar knife fight
2) The Morris Twins target practice w/ bb guns
3) The Tyshawn Traylor football team throw down
4) The Brady Morningstar DUI
5) Jerrance Howard Smoking the Reefer

I'm sure I've missed a lot more. And the above isn't even accounting for all of the eligibility/compliance issues (Selby, Diallo, Arthur, Clifton Alexander & Darrell Jackson) What a dirty program! Maybe even the dirtiest?

Only one of the five mentioned above were form '03/'04 - '09/'10. Seems incidents started increasing in frequency over the past 6-7 years.

These KU fans need to get off their collective high horse. I've never seen so many people try to defend a program whose transgressions are truly indefensible. I think all of the first and second round losses are karma for Roy and Bill's insistence upon running a dirty program.

Doesn't look good now---If I had to guess he will be removed from the team sooner rather than later unless there was some typo on his criminal offense report.

Big question is how does he have a family member living in Kansas? He's from Ohio. I mean I guess they could have moved there but interesting.
Bigger question is what is the address....The police report says the 1000 block of Emery Road. Within the 1000 block there are some apartments but also some really nice houses...

That area is a 2 minute walk to campus. Its got quite a few apartments and about 8-10 fraternity and sororities.

Still in the pokey without bail instead of released on his own recognizance or bailed out by a family member, friend or KU would seem to nullify the brunt of your argument.

The article said it was standard procedure in KS to keep the defendant in jail until their first court appearance.

According to Kansas fans, personal weapon (which what was listed on police report) can be construed as his body. Smh:

They found him at a frat party. Of course they are going to check the boxes that equate to SUSPECTING booze and weed.

And the only weapon he used was himself. That is a "good" thing
.

EDIT to clarify: by good i mean he didn't use a chair, or tire iron, or bazooka

Bragg allegedly hit his girlfriend and pushed her down the stairs:

I think AB-- After Baylor/Briles -- any coach would be nuts to keep a guy with a credible charge of domestic abuse that includes hitting and shoving down stairs. It just makes a coach and a program so vulnerable for a cascade that sweeps away all in its path, beginning with college women's groups protesting and the prospect of being seen as a violence enabler when the next event happens.

Just curious, are there any other programs that have offenders like this playing for them? Surely Pitino has a couple.

DIsappointing story if true. He would be removed from the team if so.

Weird how neither Cal nor Self saw this coming when they were Bragg's 2 finalists.

Pretty sure it came out that his girlfriend was the driver that night.

The story was that a girl who lived on that street drove there, and left Willis and his girlfriend drunk in the car. The driver went in her house.

No way to know if that's true. Cal will pull offfers but let the kid keep listing UK if they want. He won't embarrass them.

Don't know if that happened here.

SOP indeed for cold cocking and throwing a girl friend down a flight of stairs.

Judicial process must be a slow as follicle growth on Self's dome there in Lawrence.
