The longer this drags on, the less I believe it is about taking the time to make sure the decision is the right one as we are being told, and the more I think it is either Bolden trying to convince his parents about UK or waiting for our scholarship thing to work out. And for those who say players don't concern themselves with that, then why did he ask each school where his spot was going to come? Both of those are positive for us though.

This is exactly what I've been trying to convince myself of too. But, mainly, I'm just sitting tight and not worrying about it at all and just waiting til he finally announces something. Paying little to no attention to those who say stuff from their sources as I don't think any of those folks know a thing. Just come on here to check now and then if Bolden made any announcement finally.

It's similar to the IU "Movement". We all know how that turned out.

Hopefully we won't have to wait as long for the Bolden decision as IU fans have (and still are) for their movement.

I'd say a lot of these kids read these message boards. I mean I would. I'd love seeing all the fans talking about me and how they wanted me to go here or there. I'd love it and like I said. I'm sure a good percentage of the recruits do. Or is that like narcissistic or some s**t???
To be honest, I wouldn't want some " full of himself " douche bag..

Could "The Movement" be the next "Door"?

Nah, Cal was much more important than this kid.

Just heard some major buzz that Bolden was committing to...

Damn - when will I learn no Chipotle's for lunch? Back after a change of clothes.

What amazes me about Meyer and his crazy Crystal Ball is he has such a lead for Duke at almost 70% to 27% for UK. If this was such a huge Advantage for Duke they had the open scholarship for almost 2 weeks since Thornton was transferring. Why hasn't Bolden already committed to Duke since they had their scholarship for almost 2 weeks for Bolden. We are now seeing that Marcus Lee is now saying that he intends to stay in the NBA Draft which would open that needed scholarship for Bolden to commit to UK. Everyone keeps saying he is so torn between UK and Duke and I believe that he could be but I also believe that he is waiting on the open scholarship for Kentucky. We have now been hearing that Marcus Lee is saying in the Press today that he does intend to stay in the NBA Draft this year and has discussed this decision with Coach Cal. To me it all makes sense that all along Bolden has been waiting for that Open Scholarship to happen at Kentucky. I mean if he was 100% set on Duke they made room for Bolden almost 2 weeks ago when Thornton decided to transfer. If Bolden was all sold on Duke he would had already made his committment to Duke. I believe the longer he waits Bolden is waiting for Marcus Lee or Briscoe to announce they are staying in the NBA Draft to open the scholarship for him at Kentucky. Marcus Lee said in the Press today his intentions were to stay in the NBA Draft.

No one has yet to specify if the movement they are hearing is forward or backwards movement.

I was thinking something very similar myself.

It makes sense that if he wants to go to Duke he could any time he wanted, they have an open scholarship for him.

But, if he wants to go to UK, he would need to wait for a scholarship to open up.

So, he is either truly torn (most likely) or he is waiting on UK, but keeping his Duke option open in case there is no spot for him at UK.

If it's true we could have had Allen in the fall I wish we could have gotten him.Bolden is better but now if he goes to Duke it is too late for Allen and Lee sounds like he is not coming back.It leaves us in a hole with only Bam inside.I'm not sold on Humphries at all.

You are going to have to realize that his commitment has nothing to do with open scholarships. For both Duke and UK, MB always had a open spot for him. They wouldn't be recruiting him if so. He understands this too. He is not waiting to see who does what. Those promises were made when they first started recruiting him. Cal said back in the winter he wanted to add another big. He was not waiting for anyone to leave. MB may chose for many different reasons but it is not to see if there will be an open spot. There has always been one for him.

NJ and Pheonix said today that there is not the drama with his recruitment like everyone makes out. Kind of liken it to Capt Canada. The media is generating the drama and the kid is not. He will commit in his time. It doesn't matter when he commits just to who.

The crystal ball doesn't mean Jerry Meyer thinks that Duke has a 70/30 chance of landing Bolden.

It means that those who have been asked to make a prediction believe Duke is the leader. Each person voted one way or the other its a poll not a prediction.

More people who were polled think Duke lands Bolden. It depends who is being asked.

There's a subtle difference. In my mind that crystal ball thing is hogwash.

But if anyone asks me, I think it's an even race for Bolden between you guys and UK. But as time goes on, I think he tilts to UK. But also it depends if Cal let's Lee return if Lee doesn't get assurances of even being a free agent pick up.
