I remember going into that game with Wade's Marquette team and the lead story being Estill wondering who their starting center's name was. At that point i figured whoever their starting center is was going to put on a show. In the future if one of our kids don't know who they will be going up against, i hope they at least pretend they do and not admit it to the press. I'm sure Estill was joking and knew who their center was, but when it comes to motivation, you never know how small of a dose a guy needs to really kick in and start kicking azz. Talking about Estill that dude was one of my favorite bigs during that time frame. It seemed every year all of our fans were hoping Estill's knees would hold up so he could finally become the player many thought he could become. The dude had talent. He was one of the smoothest bigs in the country with his low post game.
My guess is it that it is either one of two things. Either he wants UK but we still don't have a spot, and doesn't want to commit until we do. Or his family is putting on the hard sell for Duke. Hopefully it's the first one.

For sure. But to be fair, if he announced when originally planned this thread would only be 5 pages. Even if he had announced when he originally rescheduled it would only be 10 pages. AND if he had announced when they rescheduled the rescheduled announcement...

They said his school has assemblies on Thursday and he wanted to work it out to announce during it, but I think we would have heard by now if he was going to do it today. Press would have had to be told if it was gonna be covered.
Some told me Maker's Mark is down to 20% of their reserve. Drink it up waiting on Bolden. I think they may have stock in the Kentucky Bourbon industry .
Good point, but we were desperate then (for anything good to happen) - Jai Lucas, wow, was he ever overrated.
There was some article posted last week that coordinating with press coverage wasn't necessarily going to happen.
The longer this drags on, the less I believe it is about taking the time to make sure the decision is the right one as we are being told, and the more I think it is either Bolden trying to convince his parents about UK or waiting for our scholarship thing to work out. And for those who say players don't concern themselves with that, then why did he ask each school where his spot was going to come? Both of those are positive for us though.

It's strange how quiet it has been with him this week. My Duke buddy says he is still hearing Duke is confident they land him but not as confident as they were two weeks ago. K and Duke can't seem to get an answer as to when he is announcing and what the delay is. They thought he was a done deal to announce for them last week at the Jordan game.
He's the one that dropped the nugget he was hearing he may announce Thursday. Clearly - he knew something.
The only new nugget I've heard today is that his HS coach favors Duke as well since his school Desoto in Texas also produced Matt Jones who currently plays for the Blue Devils so there's some familiarity there with the program.
