Sam Bowie story from today. My wife and I sat down in a wine bar today and Sam Bowie (sitting with his wife) struck up a conversation with my wife about wine. I wasn’t sure who he was until I saw the UK sweatshirt on his chair.
Anyway, He seemed like a great guy. When he left I asked my wife if she knew who he was and what he is most famous for (that being picked ahead of MJ in 1984). She was not impressed. I think I need a new wife!!
