UK does. Is your team going too?Do we have enough players to scrimmage before we go down there?
Look I know bbn travels well but coming off a 9-16 season and st Pete’s loss even the most diehard rich fans have to think twice before paying this ticket price
There’s only room for about 25 in the ballroom I thinkIt'll still be packed probably. Even with people thinking twice.
Cal should cover everyone that goes....he can definitely afford itSo, to be clear...roughly $8600 (hotel/games) + airfare/food for 2 on a week long trip to Bahamas.
Guessing bare minimum $350 a day for food so this is a $15K trip easy.
lol, "all that's gone on" like we're U of L or something. Poor baby.I would not go if they paid me $100 per game and all expenses paid, and that’s not a lie. There’s no bigger true blue fan than me, but sometimes you have to make a statement. I know some will go, but I know MANY that laugh at the notion of going to that with all that’s went down.
Yeah that's simply a little ridiculous cost wise.Ive got bigger things this summer to spend my money on....my first grandbaby will be here in a few weeksLook I know bbn travels well but coming off a 9-16 season and st Pete’s loss even the most diehard rich fans have to think twice before paying this ticket price
Just read on the Baja Mar Hyatt Covid protocol that if you test positive when departing for home, you have to stay 10-14 days or until you test negative. The Baja Mar will give $150 worth of food a day for free but you have to pay for the room which is $350-$500/day. That scares the CRAP out of me!!!!
I have been on this trip the last 2 times UK went when it was at the Atlantis and had a great time. it wasn't this expensive. But the little gym they played in last time was the size of a elementary gym. You could walk on the floor underneath the baskets while they warmed up and everyone was cool.
However, with the high price and the fear I have of testing positive and having to stay longer making the cost more than $15 Grand, I'll sit this one out.
The only other thing I see is airport transfers and “tailgate party”. Prices are based on double occupancy. Basketball tickets- $400 x 2, rooms are $2793. X 2. 6 nights, not all inclusive = a no for me.Wait.. if king rooms are $399 a night.. and tickets are total of $400.. how the hell does the price get over $6,200? There's at least $2,500 unaccounted for... and brefast vouchers don't cover that.
Yeah assuming this doesn't include drinks, food, and airfare.. this is a 5-figure trip.

I could say something....but I won'tThe best part about this insanely expensive trip is that Calipari probably won’t even coach, he hasn’t the past two trips.

Aside from yet another attempt to jab Cal in a thread completely unrelated to bashing Cal, if he had the 2012 team going, I highly doubt many people would still pony up that much for a trip to the Bahamas in August.Holy **** with the product Cal has been producing how do they expect some of us to spend that kind of $$$$?
I'd think twice even coming off of a National Championship.Look I know bbn travels well but coming off a 9-16 season and st Pete’s loss even the most diehard rich fans have to think twice before paying this ticket price
This alone (mask requirements) will keep 80% of UK fans from going, even if suddenly the trip was only $1500.Bahamas' covid restrictions are no joke. You leave the resort and you have to wear a mask indoors.. and some places don't even let you open the door without one. Many of the locals are walking around, outside, with masks... I was actually one of the only people outside who wasn't. And this was only a few weeks ago.
Nobody here is interested in UK under Cal anymore but they were going to travel to the Bahamas? Funny.Holy **** with the product Cal has been producing how do they expect some of us to spend that kind of $$$$?
