we've had so many heartbreakers this season, but came up CLUTCH tonight. This impressive win def gives us a real chance.
If that’s the case, we won’t make it. Does one or two wins make that much of a difference? I mean if lack of road wins over shadows the other parts of our resume, what would having two really do?No, not in yet. We need 1 more win and it would be best for it to come on the road (i.e., Purdue).
I dunno why but i just have a gut feeling we end our road woes on SaturdayI think we’re in......People are talking about 1 more win as if there is a good possibility. Purdue on the road and then Michigan in the B1G tourney are making me think it’s probable we’ve gotten our last win before selection Sunday. Obviously hope I’m wrong but that is the reality of the situation.
If this victory followed after a win against Michigan I would have no concern hearing our name called on Selection Sunday.
But IMO we still HAVE to beat Purdue and win a game (or two) in the B1G tournament to solidify getting picked.
I hope so.win at Purdue will do it.
Why do you think we need two more wins?We are not in ( yet ) so stop the insanity...We need at least 1 more win and preferably 2...can Pike get them to play at Purdue like they did tonite? ...We are a good team but if we thought Penn State was a B1G game Purdue this Saturday is our most important game of 2020... enjoy tonite guys and get the win on Saturday...GO RU !!!!!!
Wrong, we're in.We’ve proven to the committee we can beat good teams. We pruved this even before tonight’s win.
we have not proven to the committee we can beat solid teams on the road. Hence why I’ve always said the Purdue game is >>>>>>>>important to our Tourny chances.
Fantastic win tonight, no doubt. But Saturday’s game was always the must win
Our Kenpom is 29. Our NET is likely going to be top 30 as well. Is the field going to be less than 68 teams this year?
Wrong, we're in.
So your reasoning is 2-10 or 2-11 on the road compared to 1-11or 1-12 is a huge difference. Try for one second to find another team in the country that has beaten 4 ranked teams by double digits , and to boot an unranked team. There are no others except Rutgers. Let that sink in for a whole minute.Lack of road wins hurts. One more win will lock it in.
I think this win has put us into Dayton at the very least .
