Due to a scheduling conflict, I have to miss only my 2nd Blue-White game in 25 years.

Please use this thread to discuss the game/scrimmage/practice, whether you attend, watch, listen, or in any way learn about the contest.

Edit: There is no TV coverage this year, and no radio coverage this year.

Go Blue. Go White.

No TV or radio coverage is disappointing. I remember listening to George Paterno and Fran Fisher do play by play for B/W back in the day. Joe would join them in the booth at some point and provide some insight on a few of the younger guys that were in the game at that point.

I don’t think it’s the death of the blue white game, circumstances of the hiring being late, players being injured, and of course, the weather, led to this game being as it was this year.
I hope you're right. It just seems like programs are failing to realize it’s a missed opportunity for fan development and engagement. I’d like to see them do something unique that would be enough to draw 65-70k fans again, regardless of weather.

My favorite was when George asked Joe after a soon to be 5th year senior DL from New Jersey who was highly recruited but never panned out made a nice play if the kid didn’t remind him of a DL from Alabama whose name I can’t remember but who was a two time All American and Joe well they are both 6’ 8” and weigh 320 lbs.

That regardless of the weather thing won’t ever happen. The family and I were planning on going up but there’s no way we’re driving three-ish hours to spend 3+ hours in the rain.

I personally won’t head up unless I know that the weather will be solid the entire time. I can’t be the only one in that same mode, I’m gonna guess that that was probably the main reason for at least 20,000 people.

Yep I agree. Unless you live locally as in within a 30 minute drive you would be crazy to go in the rain. If the weather is great then it can make sense by making a full day out of it in SC and perhaps spend the night somewhere close so you don't have to drive 6 hours in one day.
