Factual? Oklahoma may have passed on Alexander because they had 2 higher rated LB recruits. Cheerleaders here post similar things all the time explaining why PSU didn't really "miss" on a recruit. But hey.....

So what you are saying is factual? You have no idea how Alexander was viewed by Oklahoma. If they passed on him or they valued him ahead of the kids they have, so why speculate. Rivals rates Alexander almost 100 spots above Epps, so you always saying that OU has two higher rated LBs isn't factual at every level.

Bottom line, Alexander rated at 124 in the rivals overall ranking. He's pretty good and it appears he has been the top guy on PSUs board at LB pretty much from day one. Why cant you say. "He appears to be a good get and be done with." and not go into all this other crap as to why he may not be very good when people talk about how happy they are with him coming to PSU.

Nah, that isn't very fun.

McGee will announce his commitment tomorrow, 6/24 @ 7pm according to this article. Also, this article from yesterday indicates that it's the writer's belief that we're running 3rd behind SMU & Texas.

Nah, TExas doesn't want him. They already have Meredith and are finalist for Sherrod and Johnson, both are TExas kids that rate above McGee. He lands at PSU its because Texas looked at the recruiting ranking and decided they didn't want him. He's really not much of a get. Another average 3 star.

Not yet....but a good foundation leads to a solid, sound building. From your post, I suppose you didn't think Franklin had reached "excellence at the highest level". He very rarely recruited a 5 star athlete....and typically lost out on the best in state talent to the SEC.

Franklin did not reach excellence at the highest level. His level equaled the record of the previous 150 games at PSU. Kraft set the standard. Campbell has his marching orders.

I have no idea? But you do? It makes perfect sense that Oklahoma wanted the lowest rated of 3 linebackers most. It's just like PSU didn't really want Peter Bourque. They always wanted Wood. LOL
Alexander does appear to be very good.....it's just that PSU didn't steal him from Oklahoma. How do you know that PSU wouldn't have preferred Witten or Epps?

McGee is 6'2 and runs track and plays on the baseball team. 4.4 verified 40 time and 10.45 100m dash. He looks a lot like Joey Porter Jr., IMO. Another 3* Terry Smith evaluated.

Tengwall really likes Alexander. He was raving over his film on his show. He said he will be one of our top recruits. He is very highly ranked nationally so this is an excellent pickup for us. Any differing opinion on this is simply ignorant.

Tengwall's livelihood depends on building excitement around PSU football. He will be careful about being critical (won't bite the hand that feeds him). If he said something critical you would use the "ignore feature."

He may prove to be as good or better than Porter. However, Porter was rated a 4 star by 247 and a "composite" 4 star. Porter was considered a top 250 recruit.

You want to beat Ohio State? They currently have the #1, 8 and 12 rated Edge Rushers in this class. Not to mention the #6 rated receiver.
and they aren't done. Oregon has the #7 edge, #7 QB, #6 LB, #4 WR, and #3 safety.
These are the type of game changers that will make the big play to beat PSU and you experts will blame the coaching.

Just ignore him. Your experience will improve. That’s what I have done. There is nothing you can say, and there is nothing that Campbell can do, that will change his opinion. Campbell could win a natty this year and he is still going to be a troll. The Internet is full of trolls from message boards to social media. Their main objective is to bring depression and misery to the discourse. Often they are not even people, they are bots. 80% of social media users are computer bots meant to stir up trouble.

We were discussing Tengwall's assessment of Alexander. You're right, Tengwall needs Penn Staters to tune in for his livelihood. Does that mean he'd compromise his honesty to do so....I truly doubt that. So, I guess you don't think much of Tengwall either.
