He literally didn't take his eyes off the first target in a small space in the endzone. Easy read for defender, didn't even look to his right for second reads
I think mobility for the QB is important, but if we are running the QB 20 times a game it will be probably be Purdy running it at some point.

And then we scored easily on that QB sneak. The false start is the real crime here.
Someone else said Jammal Lord and I'd go with that after the picks, but Sims looks huge out there running around for 1st downs.
We don't have one receiver on the field that can get open. Lets recruit speed, but not use it.
The real killer no one is taking about is burning the second timeout when people couldn’t get set. If we have two timeouts, the whole situation changes
That is not a "read"
That defender always goes back corner of the endzone, you don't really "read" in the 5 yard line you just do what you have been told to do.
At least not in the coaching **** I have done. Minny might do some different stuff and it worked
Injuries are a reality. Such a strategy might "work" in the short term but is irresponsible as the core of your offense that needs to be effective in some way for the entire season.
As a GT fan that saw this never progress in 3 years, yeah. He doesnt read defenses whatsoever. He looks good getting off the bus and he runs well but thats where it ends. Oh and you cant run him like this all year. He is the only GT QB to never face UGA because he was hurt 3 years in a row. I fear Geoff Collins made a call to his buddy Rhule and sold him a bill of goods. Was hoping Rhule was smarter.

We played very conservative and are down 3 on the road. Agree, we are fine.
So rhules on the hot seat? Already a failure in your mind? Back to the coaching carousel? I prefer to give the guy time and support. Criticizing everything that doesn’t work out isnt helpful.
IF # 57 doesn’t flinch it was 6 pts. I have zero problem with the play calls. #57 screwed up. IT should have never come down to 3rd and 6.
I think Satterfield is making decent calls as the game progresses. But, you got to execute.

ehhh….love the style but I think the rules changes around crack back blocks really hurt how he wanted to run it. Great appreciation for the Nebraska program and hope you guys pull it together. Just very skeptical about Sims being the guy to help yall do it for reasons you have seen in just 30 minutes of football.
