Miami saved by the refs tonight. Yet another OT 2 point win. Miami player ran right over Ohio guy and extended his arm completely ref calls a block. Shot 41 free throws. They will lose opening game in NCAA.

8 one possessions wins and 2 other OT wins they ended up winning by more than 1 possession. So 11 games decided by 1 possession in regulation. That has to be a record to win all 10, lots of luck involved there. They had a historically bad OOC schedule, there’s been a lot of teams who ran the table in their conference, difference being they played several power 4 teams OOC and had 3-4 losses. Amazing feat to win that many but incredibly lucky at the same time.

That call was terrible. He looked like he had no real plan other than to get fouled, and created 100% of the contact by going full extension with the off arm. Then they compounded it on the next play by giving Miami the benefit of the doubt on a borderline verticality play on the other end. I’m surprised Ohio’s coach was able to restrain himself after that sequence of events.

LOL at the people saying Miami was saved by the refs did you watch the entire game ?

Miami got called for 3 Techs and a F1 and Ohio hit 7 of the FT's and scored another 5 pts off getting the ball back (when it would been Miami's ball without the techs)

So that is 12 pts Ohio scored because of the ref calls

Miami should won going away if not for those 12 pts

I really hope Akron beats Miami in the MAC finals just to prove him wrong. There is no chance a 31-0 team misses the big dance why are we even playing the regular season then. I don't care how easy the schedule was.

Akron vs Miami could be epic final

Akron went 17-1 in the MAC only loss was 3 pts at Miami OH

I really want to see that play out.

Eh they got reeeeaal cocky with the Ohio rpad crowd last night including flipping them off after squealing out a win.

That’s taken some of the “awww shucks” from them in my book and I hope they get torched.

Take the win. Be humble.

And got the win on an iffy call that wasn't called the same way on the other end.

Yeah, I didn't care for that look last night. I think they are believing their own hype.

When they act like they're hot **** like they did last night. Cocky little bastards for beating nobodies. I didn't mind pulling for them a bit before, now I hope they get torched by 30. I hate cocky teams.

You come across as someone who’s probably a sad bitter person in real life. It’s something I’ve noticed in a great many of your posts over the years.

They did not act any cockier last night than any other team in that situation in an emotionally charged game would’ve, that’s just you trying to put a negative spin on a fun little story.

And nobody has any illusions that they’re “hot ****” compared to the major conference powers. But it’s still a damn nice story knowing that a mid major can still go unbeaten in this new era where EVERYTHING is stacked against the little guys. It’s too bad that you’re incapable of enjoying it.

Here are a few results that were interesting this year for the 7th, 8th and tied for last place MAC teams
Cincy won at Kansas and pounded BYU at home but lost at home to a tied for last MAC team

Bruce Pearl said Miami OH might finish last in the Big East but the 6th place Big East team lost at home to the 7th place MAC team

Look, I know they’ve played a really bad schedule. Not sure who their best win is against, Akron? I remember when Miami always played UC and/or Xavier every year. I guess that doesn’t happen anymore.

I still think they should get in, even if they lose in their Conference tournament.

Impressive streak but that is where it ends.... You gotta be able to win several big games against the big boys for me to think that this team is serious.
