Like I said eminent domain and 40 years. My uncle was the long term mayor when all this was going on. So much behind the scenes that you would not even be privy too. Will leave it at that. Our government at work and the town sufferers.
The NL site has everything to do with the Boro. Sayreville had to eminent domain the property and sue NL before the cleanup could start. It took 40 years.
Only took Sayreville 17 years to address this and make a plan. Thats our local government at best here in the ville. I guess it's better than the 40 years it is taking for the National Lead site that has been moving dirt around for the last five years,
