    LW East vs Loyola

The 2012 runner-up team was Mokena/Frankfort. All four of the AllState players were from Mokena that season. Having the North players is huge for East, but “Z” knows how to win and attracts great athletes. Parents move to Frankfort so their kids play for him.

So which players would make the Team of the Decade?

What about Athletes? Players that don’t fall into a specific position? Just great football players like Tommy Fuessel. I’m biased, but I know a lot of fans thought he was the most fun to watch on a Friday night. Just saying.

    Tommy Fuessel

Tommy was offered a spot on the University of St. Francis fall team, so he enrolled part time and played fall ball. He played outstanding and was offered a scholarship. The NCAA would not allow Tommy to continue playing for NU because they considered him a retired athlete. He is far from...

    Tommy Football Chasing a Dream

There's no avenue for Tommy to play a sport at Northwestern. He is considered a retired athlete with the NCAA. The request to play baseball was made and the compliance department confirmed he could not play. It's ironic because he could sign a professional baseball contract and maintain his...

    Tommy Football Chasing a Dream

It's a competitive league with plenty of talent. He has a teammate that starts for Purdue and another that was pulled up last Saturday to a professional independent team. Tommy's focus over the past two years has been to get healthy. He used baseball as a tool to achieve that goal. He is now...
