I think its safe to say that mental health issues were, in fact, the deal with sportsbybrooks
Kyle Tucker and "The Athletic" is a marriage made in sanctimonious heaven. Listening to that clown prattle on and on about his "talented colleagues" and all the "smart, funny and brave" writers at that website is enough to make you want to punch a dog. "Oh, how I love my new, fun and really cool gig!"
Good Lord he's insufferable.
I mean- name an easier “prestigious” job than sportswriter.

Those railroad tracks is where a lot of junkies hang out. One got ran over by a train a few weeks back.Just caught someone breaking into my car at work. Held him until police arrived. Was on another planet coming down off meth & "hiding from people on four wheelers".
Great start to the morning. I hate people.
Brave lol
To be fair to sports journalist I believe a lot of the click bait ******** probably really isn't their idea of fun. What bothers me is the sanctimonious BS they spew.
Good point. I guess if you're constantly fearful of losing your job, not getting paid well, and reporting on something that in the grand scheme of things isn't that important anyway, talking about how brave/awesome/powerful your co-workers "piece" is makes you feel better about yourself.
Tucker is a talented writer, but he can't keep a job due to the financial situations of his employers. Has to be stressful and therefore constantly offering/receiving support is probably needed.
The fact that the FBI is basically doing investigations into UofL cheating and the Supreme Court nominee simultaneously is pretty astounding.
Wa wa wa waiiiiiiit.....The architect of this success was the athletic director, Tom Jurich. After a brief career as an NFL kicker (he played one game and missed all three of his field-goal attempts)
lmao

it’s not my money so I wish them the best.
The NY Times/WSJ can thrive because they have become national publications....
* drxman comes to town this weekend. Had fun explaining that situation to the lass.
“So, it’s his friends birthday. His name is ‘Jonboy,’ and he has a boat called ‘The Dirty Slut II.’”
NY, Boston, LA, Houston, Denver, Cleveland, Atlanta, Milwaukee
MLB fans will have to watch all of these small market teams since they didn’t give the Cubs a free pass.
Not a Yankees fan, actually far from it, but boy that GD Aaron Judge sure does have a beautiful batters box stance.
If i ever have grandchildren play baseball, i will definitely try to get them to use his stance. I just hope he is not playing for the Cubs when that day comes.
Oh to be a fly on the wall when Dr Boat and his biggest Florida man crush JonBoy get back together. To see those guys relive their Crab Island conquests, 300 yard drives, & Night Of the Roxbury clubbing stories is going to be a great way for you and your girl to spend the weekend. "Its ok babe, I'm a Doctor."
