Clusterfu*k

[UK_Dallas]

Should have stretched it out and put them at the line.

[catholic_back]

Is KenPom cooking our defensive books. It does not seem possible that we're top 100.

He owes us for 2015.

[_Chase_]

Willis is dogshit. Always has been, always will be. We may get a random game or two from him, but we aren't ever getting **** from him in the clutch.

Not even going to make an effort to steal the inbounds pass with .5 left. SMH

[Wrong]

Losing to Rick F Barnes 2 years in a row with a **** team.

Is KenPom cooking our defensive books. It does not seem possible that we're top 100.

We've been steadily dropping for a month.

[UnfrozenCatfanLawyer]

That's the kind of loss that costs you a seed.

11pts

He still wasn't good, but blame someone else (Like, the TEAM) for that **** fest.

[catholic_back]

Fox has had so much poise all year long, I'm afraid our spastic, jumping up and down lunatic of a coach is rubbing off on our freshmen.

I swear to God if Cal were more calm out there these guys wouldn't lose their minds late.

[wcc31]

Said before the game this one scared me, but surely we couldn't lose to this ****** F'ing team again?

I hate Knoxville.

[IsRichieGonnaStart]

Willis just doesn't have "it". Just a total cluster touch of the game all the way around with the exception of Bam.

[_Chase_]

Until this team drastically improves defensively we are going nowhere. We can forget about it. We routinely give up 80 points to TERRIBLE teams.

[SDcatfan13]

There's a a reason we've won 1 under Cal. Its Cal. Unreal coaching tonight. Wow. Two straight to barnes and recors vs Drew. Wow.

[TheShowKiller]

Gee shocking the dagger was over our bitchass senior.

Great game, Wiilis.

Yeah there is a lot of redass to go around but Derek is at the top of my list.

Road game, ***** going bad. How about you knock down some shots and D up as a senior?

Got bullied by that honk for a key bucket as well.

[BristolCat_rivals158386]

Can't wait to see what this year's tweak is.

[wildcat1973_rivals160373]

Don't give a **** what the stats say...and I love stats...he played like *** tonight.

[catholic_back]

Throw those stats on Briscoe into your gaping *******.

He was awful the first 35 minutes of the game. Sure he boarded and (finally) hit a few layups late, but he was AWFUL.

As were a number of other people, but that doesn't mean he wasn't too.

[Kennedy_UK]

Cal is now 3-4 @ Thompson Boling. Just trying to let that sink in for a ******* minute...

[SDcatfan13]

Anybody not expecting sweet 16 flameout to scrubs is out of their minds. We will give up 85. 4 more players to the NBA. Another wasted NC shot.

[cawoodsct]

Ok, we have 8 games before Kansas at home in late January. What will be our record in these 8? 40-0!!1!1!!1!! is not an acceptable answer.

Dec. 29 at Ole Miss ESPN2 8 p.m.
Jan. 3 vs. Texas A&M ESPN 9 p.m.
Jan. 7 vs. Arkansas SEC Network 8:30 p.m.
Jan. 10 at Vanderbilt ESPN 7 p.m.
Jan. 14 vs. Auburn ESPN/ESPN2 4 p.m.
Jan. 17 at Mississippi State ESPN 7 p.m.
Jan. 21 vs. South Carolina ESPN/ESPN2 4-8 p.m.
Jan. 24 at Tennessee ESPN 9 p.m.

7-1 apparently.

[Mattox]

Their best play was for us to knock it out of bounds under their basket so they got to throw it in from their own baseline. Automatic layup or free throws. It really was uncanny how easily they scored from that all night. That's a pretty regular occurrence in basketball, you'd think perhaps we might practice defending it.

This. He was even pulling Briscoe and others out of FT line huddle when we were on our run and had the vibes, just to scream and yell...

[wcc31]

Thanks for doing this **** at a 9pm Tuesday night game, you pricks.

Looking forward to the follow up on Saturday to ruin my trip to Lex.

[august-west]

I guess it's hard to get a new crop of freshman to learn what it takes to play elite defense unless you have a Witch and a MKG every year. I could be wrong, JMO

[wcc31]

I mean- biggest possession of the game perhaps and our guy slips in front of our own F'ing bench.

[wildcat1973_rivals160373]

Cal sucks too.

[PTI Anon1640710541]

The Iron Sheiks social media feed is basically what's running thru my head right now.

F you.
F the SEC.
F Knoxville.
F Tuesday.
F this.
F that.
F the jabronis.

Etc.

[UKStoleMyFish]

Scott Drew. Steve Alford. Tom Crean.

Now add Rick Barnes to the list of ****** coaches Calipari struggles with.

Do better, John. And calm the F down, would you?

[IsRichieGonnaStart]

All summer we heard that this would be one of Cal's best defensive teams and reality is the polar opposite. You can't get the transition buckets you. need on a night like tonight when you don't get stops.

[wcc31]

Our burgeoning PF tandem combined for 2-11/0-6 tonight against the smallest team in the SEC.

[TheShowKiller]

Where redass leaks into stupidity.

There have been teams that have won titles have multiple losses on the resume worse than this.

Nevertheless, this loss is totally worthy of some redass hyperbole. We slept walked tonight.

[MrKentucky]

A random oddity I noticed that literally doesn't matter at all: no UK title team has lost to UT

[Mattox]

Cal isn't perfect, but we have competed for a national championship in five of his seven seasons. I'll take it. K went from 1992-93 to 2008-09 with only one national title. He suck too?

[bluthruandthru]

This. He was even pulling Briscoe and others out of FT line huddle when we were on our run and had the vibes, just to scream and yell...

Just tryin to simulate the Madness of March.

I think all the guys jumping around when it was off UT under UT's basket is a direct mirror of Cal. Love him but imp:

[catholic_back]

Calipari is incredible. There is no doubting this. I would kiss him on the mouth.

But if he would just CALM THE EFF DOWN he could be so much better for our young guys.

[ukcats2008_rivals103438]

Not to step on (completely justified) in-game redass, but did anyone really think this team was going to go 18-0 in SEC play?

They were bound to drop at least one and they were going to have to look like **** doing it because no one in the conference is good enough to beat them if they're playing well.

Sure as **** didn't think we would los to an awful UT team.

It's hard work to lose to such a small/****** opponent when Bam played as well as he did. Blame whoever you want. There were several to choose from tonight.

Love seeing Bam hit his FT's.

[legalbeagle123]

How many uncontested layups, dunks, and wide open 3's for UT tonight?

Absolutely no excuse, for the quickness we have, to be this effing terrible defensively. Either our guys are dumb as **** or Cal can't teach basics.
