Ya can't pbp Spencer sometimes. One spot I watched multiple times. He was in and left an arm out and could have been thrown by elite guys.

He just stumbled stepping backwards, don't think it was any big deal. But it's Spencer so we are paranoid to expect the worse.
Hope you’re right, but he limped immediately after, and beforehand (after getting the tech) was grabbing his right foot while looking at his corner.

about technique, I love the old school head in the butt leg laces. I think Kevin Jackson was a monster at that. But probably wrong

Looked like when he stepped backwards his heel caught in the mat which caused him to stumble and his knee buckled it looked like. His strong quads hold his knee in place at this point is my thinking and in that position the quad probably couldn't . I wouldn't worry about it and I doubt it will be an issue in the next 2 matches

Lee faces European champ Islam Bazarganov (Azerbaijan) in the semis - who has also teched each of his three opponents thus far.

The two met once previously, in February of 2025 - with Lee winning 6-2 at a Ranking Series event.

Five months later, Bazarganov lost to Luke Lilledahl (3-1) - then went 1-1 at Worlds later that year.

This February, he beat Liam Cronin (5-0) and Darian Cruz (6-1) en route to 3rd at a Ranking Series event.

Then, three months after winning his European title, he placed 5th at another Ranking Series event - including an 11-0 loss to 2024 Olympic bronze medalist Aman Aman (India).

He ran off into the back after shaking Russia's coach's hand.
Az, we have seen that before though. But that's what I was watching too

Thanks for the updates guy. Flow been laying an egg for me since right before Lee's 2nd match and we're headed to the pheasant fields here soon. What time are semis?
