So the Other Freshman QB McWorter Chose State over Georgia, Florida and Florida State and was originally committed to West Virginia in 2024. But, he was a 3 star QB at Cass High School. Rashada is a Redshirt Junior, although there is no such thing as a redshirt now. Swann has started multiple games at Vanderbilt, throwing for 2700 yards and App State where he played in 10 games last season. But not good enough to top the redshirt from Jackson Prep. Goodness gracious!
That's a good point. Gotta wonder why????

Surgery this week.
Well it's basically academic even if surgery was postponed till after the season. He had the bye and LSU game to heal and was obviously far from ok Saturday. It sounded like it was bad as it has been when he left for the locker room.

So you would be looking at 3 solid weeks of SEC play being out and not playing Tn Tech. With only the hope of returning to a demoralized team on the road in Oxford. By then... who would actually care. Well except for the "I don't care if we win one game as long as it's ole miss!" bunch.

We’re going to end up 6-6 with an egg bowl loss this year. Maybe we’ll be better next year. Maybe we won’t be and it’ll be a repeat of
the last few years. Either way, I’ll probably end up watching other games around the nation and enjoying them more than my Alma mater, which is a very sad metric, but very true in the end
6-6???? show me two more wins

If our football team can’t win, is that ultimately on the coach or is it on the man who hired the coach? There should be some accountability somewhere.
Directly it's on the coach, but when we keep having to hire/fire coaches every 2-3 years, then the people making those decisions need to be looked at. Keenum's not going anywhere until he wants to, though.

surely we had a team doctor that told the coaches that this was a pretty serious injury and he didn't need to rush back to playing yet.
Here’s the ugly truth about team doctors. They will do anything to say a player is good to play whether he is or isn’t. Their job is to get the player back ASAP, not to protect the player or to his long term health. It why Hurts played with blood clots after being kept awake for 36 hours & Tua still plays after a dozen concussions. It why the average lifespan of an nfl player is shockingly short.

Keenum's first priority is not hiring a football coach or AD, but it seems he's not doing all that well in the academic regard either given the school ratings. Plus, I don't think he presents all that good an image for the university given his good ole boy way of doing things.

We are 17ing cursed. Tear down DWS and build a shrine to the Indians and build another stadium somewhere else. This is 17ing ridiculous. We’ve had basically no hope since Leach died and as soon as we get a sliver of hope and think things might be back on track, our once in a generation quarterback gets injured. Back to having no hope again. Unbelievable.
I have lived long enough in my MSU fandom to see Sleepy Robinson, and now KT. I think it’s time to put a full time exorcist on staff.l

What doesn't make sense is who watched him prep for this game and thought he was ready. You could tell right away he didn't need to be out there.

I’ll tell you who - a bunch of damn grown ups worried about their own asses instead of the healthy or the young man.

“Yeah I think he’s good to go!!!!!!”

“Yeah he’s good!!!!!”

“KT you're good for today go get em!!!!!”

The doctor has a lot to say about the situation. Theres a reason they have malpractice insurance and coaches don't have dumbass decision insurance.

I remember the day that I was out on Croom. I was sitting in the upper deck and the score was 3-2. State got a turnover on Auburn's 40. I jumped up screamed and the guy next to me said why you excited? He had kept his seat. I said, all we need is a few yards and field goal. He looked at me in a matter of fact tone and said, "It won't matter." 4 plays later, State was punting from it's own 40. Game over

I am not quite there yet but, I will not be an apologist any more.

I was that guy for a buddy. He got all excited when we got the ball back, and I remember leaning over saying something along the lines of we are not going to score. When we were walking back to the Polo’s later to see some tail he told me to 17 off, but that I was right. I will be honest I have a 4 year old daughter, and it is getting harder to answer when she asks me why we seem to lose most of the games we play. Honestly coming up new answers for that for the last 4 years is getting a little old.

I had given up on the FG possibility when they got the punt off in the end zone. I honestly thought we had a better chance to block the punt in the end zone to go up 4-3 than any chance of offensive points.
