Don’t hold your breath on a Bitcoin sell off. Next leg up loadingThis week I went back to basics and started “building” positions instead of my recent arrogant buys (losses)…of course I bought my first tranche of AKAM today and it jumps 20% after hours. Joking aside, AKAM should be a big player in agentic AI. I plan to keep adding on pull backs.
Hard not to like NET in the new agentic world. Could go on a serious run.
Tokenization and blockchain finally getting attention. Would love to see BTC sell off and have that money get directed to real blockchain products/companies.
I was sort of joking although I can see a scenario where tokenization goes mainstream and people realize over time that BTC has no use case and doesn’t do anything. I actually own some SOL and FWDI. Been looking at other opportunities in the agentic commerce space.Don’t hold your breath on a Bitcoin sell off. Next leg up loading
You’ll give in and realize worldwide people actually use bitcoin and here in the states people are more than comfortable holding as a store of value eventually. @T2Kplus20 is a secz maxiSECZ has been on a tear. Weren’t there some folks really into it on this forum?
Tokenize the world!!! And rocking PURR as well.@T2Kplus20 is a secz maxi
I have a large SECZ position and was pumping it here before the SPAC mainly because of the Lutnick connection. Notice Cantor was the first major to upgrade it LOL. I will say I didn’t do my cost basis any favors with some ill-timed buys early on but I would be a pig to complain given the recent move.SECZ has been on a tear. Yes, pre-SPAC merger (started buying around the time the Computershare deal was made) and loaded the boat at $6. So cost basis is $7'ish (IIRC). So far so good. Unfortunately, option contracts are still pretty limited (at least last time I looked).SECZ has been on a tear. Weren’t there some folks really into it on this forum?
How about a curveball option to win- SpaceX. Already has a competitive AI model. Starlink service can compete on cost like no one else can. It works everywhere- planes, no service areas, etc. Have to wonder if they try it at some point. He’s close here, just don’t think Meta is needed as a partner. On Meta, CNBC did a survey…going purely by their reporting, 75% of people said they would not buy the charm pointing to their phone, not wanting another thing to carry, just another thing to charge, it’s unnecessary, etc. The fact that Zuck believes a physical device is the key makes me think Apple and Google will win. Zuck could have stopped at the Muse app with no hardware. He knows his best chance is to put something, anything, in people’s hands. Hosting that product launch when the Charm isn’t even finished yet also has to make you wonder. Could have waited closer to Xmas. The internal components and exterior finish were not done. Why reveal it now unless there is a reason to rush to market…
BTW, this is not meant to be an opinion on Meta stock.

If you’re in at $495, hold. If you’re in at $280, sell.MSFT up to $515
At this point the only thing that may stop MSFT is the Gov’t. It owns the enterprise/employee interface. MSFT is integrating third parties like Harvey into the MSFT App Store so you basically just add it to your co-pilot click-and-go. I made a co-pilot agent this week in an hour that can now do a slice of my job for me. Once MSFT perfects co-pilot and Teams the stock will go to the moon. What am I missing in this investment equation? If you’re in at $495, hold. If you’re in at $280, sell.![]()
Bought Microsoft shortly after the IPO in the late ‘80s. Sold some in the lte ‘90s to pay off the mortgage and holding the rest to five to the kids on a stepped up basis when we pass. That, along with Amgen bought shortly after the IPO, which I still hold, turned me into a permanent bus and hold guy. Of course it doesn’t always work, bought Global Crossing in the ‘90s and road it all the way down…If you’re in at $495, hold. If you’re in at $280, sell.![]()
I’m joking because I recently exited to get some liquidity. PE multiple seems a little stretched but I agree that if they can execute their installed base gives them a head start. I had a nice gain and I still have plenty of MSFT in funds…it’s weighting is over 5% in the SP500.At this point the only thing that may stop MSFT is the Gov’t. And I’ve pivoted my liquidity into something about to pay a 3.5% dividend (14% annualized).I’m joking because I recently exited to get some liquidity. They’re advocating that the government stop them, so I’d call that stopping themselves. The fake Anthropic guy from a few weeks ago seems to have backfired. Maybe now they’re trying to turn it up a notch? At this point the only thing that may stop MSFT is the Gov’t. It owns the enterprise/employee interface. It did, which was part of the very predictable 4-year cycle (literally right on schedule.....which means, it was probably a self-fulfilling prophecy). Now the cycle says KABOOM.Didt BTC go from 125k down to 60k?
Yes, which imo means the sell off period is already behind us.Didt BTC go from 125k down to 60k?
It broke through its 200wSMA.....which was (once again) textbook. That's when I started buying IBIT leaps.Yes, which imo means the sell off period is already behind us.
I’ve been telling you for 4+ years that stable coins are coming and you said they’d never compete with the traditional financial system. Now everyone is launching them. Welcome to the party. Why doesn’t anyone here seem to think tokens/stablecoins will unravel BTC eventually UNLESS the only BTC argument is store of value? If it’s store of value, I’m sure folks will gravitate to less volatile assets with similar or greater returns.

“I’m sure folks will gravitate to less volatile assets…” is quite the statement in the face of the facts, mainly how the Bitcoin etf has performed since launching.
Beginning to sound like Peter…
Guessing the last sentence is the difference. There seems to be a lot of people who do believe in the store of value narrative. In the past, I may have misunderstood the difference between BTC and stable-coins, or if nothing else the meme-coin craze helped blurred the technology lines between all of these. the new AI agentic world has also strengthened the use case for stablecoins and the utility of tokens, especially as the tokenization of RWAs explodes. If nothing else, I don’t see why anyone would waste their time with BTC when they should be looking at SOL or ETH unless the view is that BTC is just digital gold (which for me is a non-starter).
Meta putting Alexander Wang out front has been a great move too. He’s a breath of fresh air relative to others in the field.Talk is that META stealing the MDB CEO is they are going after enterprise business.
Good for META. On paper at least.
Surprised how big a hit this has been to MDB though. And there has been zero bounce after the initial flush.
Is that why MDB dumped so hard? At a work event, so out of the loop today.Talk is that META stealing the MDB CEO is they are going after enterprise business.

Very fun watching the jockeying going on with these companies. OpenAI just dropped its Dots agents. Elon’s response is amazing…
Instinct is a name that has been mentioned a bunch since Muse came out. Seems those 2 are pretty similar.Meta’s making all the right moves (for now) but it’s clear this space is going to be hyper-competitive. Apple announced a bunch of restructuring I’m guessing due to delays in their agent product. Google’s launch coming. Grok Bot. I even saw a commercial during the Yankees game for some private company that has AI agents. Probably explains why Microsoft backed off and is focused on Co-Pilot agents within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Ya. Monday. Is that why MDB dumped so hard? At a work event, so out of the loop today.
I was tempted to buy the MDB dump but the more I looked at it, the more I realized I don’t understand that database market especially with Azure, Bedrock, and Google. Made me take another look at my SNOW position. Also, what CEO of a public company leaves to go work for someone else?Ya. Monday.
Hopefully for them(and me as I'm still holding) they have a decent bullpen. But initial stock reactions suggests they don't.
It is an interesting point.I was tempted to buy the MDB dump but the more I looked at it, the more I realized I don’t understand that database market especially with Azure, Bedrock, and Google. Maybe the founder comes back to serve as interim CEO? I believe the stock dumped a few years ago for the executive move as well.It is an interesting point.
But he did go to a multi trillion dollar market cap company.
And I assume Meta paid him well to do so.
