Is being a fan an agenda? And this goes right back to mine. What exactly is your agenda with Reese. There's probably 3 or 4 people on here who give flying g F--K about Reese. Yet you constantly bombard this thread. Maybe you can get Tom to start a new section just for her and you and your handful of cronies can post all day about her exploits. Yes she's a great rebounder, the best ever. Yea! Aja Wilson is currently the best player in the league and we don't have this constant nonsense on here about her. Thank God. For whatever she does in the W, I'll never forget what she did to Clark after that championship game. The difference between gamesmanship during the heat of a game and what Reese did to Clark after they won handily, and then instead of celebrating she repeatedly chased Clark around the court trying to humiliate her. A person maybe become a better player, but a leopard doesn't change their spots. She's a person of low character, and no personal dignity. No decent person, would do what she did after that game.
Bc she’s fun and just set 2 wnba records last nightWell, I guess my question is WHY is there an Angel Reese "fan club" on this forum. Really no reason except to antagonize and start sh--...
It's an Iowa board genius,This circles back to my point that some people on this board are overly sensitive to any criticism about Caitlin Clark
Does this forum have ANYTHING to do with your constant post about Reese. Supposedly this is a forum for IOWA women's basketball, and by extension its spilled into covering the greatest Iowa player in history and her exploits in this cursed league. Obviously that extends to Meg, Lucy and Kate as Hawks. I can see why some inclusion of players on other teams when they play Iowa or the Fever, but this whole Reess this and Reese that is agenda driven, and you know that as well as I do.Is being a fan an agenda?
That’s not the point. We can all give Clark her flowers but the moment anyone points out a flaw it’s “everyone else does it” or “that’s because her assists” or “what’s your agenda?”It's an Iowa board genius,
AND? You post numerous times here pretty much every day regaling us with her exploits. Who cares.Bc she’s fun and just set 2 wnba records last night
I think you’re overthinking this.Does this forum have ANYTHING to do with your constant post about Reese. YOU focus on ONE player. The very person who did everything in her low character self to humiliate Clark at the lowest point in her career, and yet you prop her up daily on this Iowa forum. Yes, its an agenda. That’s not the point. We can all give Clark her flowers but the moment anyone points out a flaw it’s “everyone else does it” or “that’s because her assists” or “what’s your agenda?”
Simply untrue. I post about her when others bring her up. Last night I didn’t post until someone else brought her up. A few nights ago when she posted the most efficient game in WNBA history going 9-9 with 2 3 pointers, I didn’t say anything until @EvilMonkeyInTheCloset brought her up.AND? You post numerous times here pretty much every day regaling us with her exploits. Who cares.
Also untrue. I post about a lot of different players when they have record nights.YOU focus on ONE player. The very person who did everything in her low character self to humiliate Clark at the lowest point in her career, and yet you prop her up daily on this Iowa forum. Yes, its an agenda.
Hence the word FOCUS. Do we really need to go back through this 14,000 posts to see the number of times you've brought her up on your own? Also untrue. I post about a lot of different players when they have record nights.
How about this. Starting now I won’t bring her up. However, once someone else mentions her then I can post about her again.Constantly? Do we really need to go back through this 14,000 posts to see the number of times you've brought her up on your own?
It makes no difference. You're going to do what you want, and so am I. My apologies that this one player triggers me. I'll never forget what she did after that game in 2023. Not to mention how she used that notoriety afterwards. How about this. Starting now I won’t bring her up. However, once someone else mentions her then I can post about her again.
does that work for you?
They have thrown it in from time to time with some success. Like you said though it can highlight some of their weaknesses. It's probably too late in the season to change anything major, but I wonder if having a matchup zone as a changeup would have helped stem the tide when the other offense is operating with impunity. Given the Fever's lack of rebounding and overall defensive discipline, a zone could be a disaster. But using it for 5-10 possessions at a time when their guards are getting carved up could be enough to stem momentum and stop those 20-point leads from disappearing in minutes.
I've got an idea. Since this is the CC22 and Fever thread, created specifically to follow/ discuss CC22 and the Fever maybe you can keep your comments in this thread to things that actually relate to the Fever. If there are other things non Fever related you could create/post those in another thread that isn't labeled "CC22 and the Fever Mega thread".How about this. Starting now I won’t bring her up. However, once someone else mentions her then I can post about her again.

That's a great suggestion but I do not think that is for me.I've got an idea. Just trying to reduce the number of unnecessary pillow fights that arise....
She's a clown. FIFYBc she’s fun and just set 2 wnba records last night
Whatever helps you sleep. Lol.Nice so she did it just a few months ago. Which means it’s “within the realm of possibility.”
Was one of them for the number of consecutive shots you have blocked? Lol.Bc she’s fun and just set 2 wnba records last night
RudeWas one of them for the number of consecutive shots you have blocked? Lol.
That's kind of the old Fran band aid that he tried with his old " switching defenses." I mean it could work for a few possessions a game but it doesn't take long for a professional team to carve up a zone. But then we get carved up in man to man as well. They're just a bad defensive team. Timpson has certainly helped some but they're going to give up points also playing such a fast paced game. Lots of possessions for the other team. Also the other night CC just kept pushing the pace and eventually Chicago just wilted. It's probably too late in the season to change anything major, but I wonder if having a matchup zone as a changeup would have helped stem the tide when the other offense is operating with impunity. There's a song by the Commodores that describes how @AFM22 feels about Reese. It's "Brick House".AND? You post numerous times here pretty much every day regaling us with her exploits. Who cares.
Not supposed to talk about herThere's a song by the Commodores that describes how @AFM22 feels about Reese. It's "Brick House".
They’ve used it very effectively a few times this year, yet they get out of it and go back to their horrible man to man and never get back in it. They need to keep coming back to it at different times throughout a game until the other team figures it out. NY beat the Fever because they went into a zone. It's probably too late in the season to change anything major, but I wonder if having a matchup zone as a changeup would have helped stem the tide when the other offense is operating with impunity. It's in my You Tube music library.Hey now. That was my wife's favorite song when we met in college. Lolol.. As a well built 6'0" blond she thought that was her theme song. Lolol..
That doesn't mean they can't be reasonable. Other Iowa players are criticized and it doesn't set people off the way some CC supporters are. But that's consistent with the self-absorbed indignation that seems to be woven into the WNBA brandIt's an Iowa board genius,
