You were taught to never say "Chocolate poptart"? You are aware that is what they were saying, correct?

I have never heard the term chocoalte poptart before, i assume a poptart is a term for a soft baseball player and chocolate is because of his skin tone, which we all know dems love to aknowledge everywhere all the time.

I think Fagnar is the fruittart for starting a thread about it.

Imagine the utter trash your parents must be/have been to produce something that could produce the above. When your mama had you, she probably thought you were just a chocolate totfart.

Same difference with the white folk.

Actually in my experience there are large numbers of well spoken higher educated black folk and a comparable redneck middle educated factory worker type white folks as a comparison

Seems Black folk get better educations up North

I'd probably agree with you, but would want to hear the whole story before passing judgement. But yes, forfeiture would be an appropriate punishment. Probably just a little intra-squad dust up. I doubt it was totally unprovoked.
Even if they were provoked, regaling your African-American opponents with some kind of racist taunt is beyond the pale. (Although I've gotta say that "chocolate pop tart" is one I've never heard before.)

Yet, the Fagnars of the world call ME the racist. LOL
To be clear, I am not calling you a racist per se, as I really don’t give a sh*t. I am calling you a coward, a punk, and a whiny little b*tch.

It shouldn’t be difficult to be a man and just say WTF you mean instead of crying over whataboutisms like a misdemeanor conviction in Minnesota or other people being pieces of sh*t in public. If you are okay with people hurling racially charged tropes at children, be a man and just say so. Quit whining and deflecting to a misdemeanor conviction in a state you otherwise wouldn’t give a flying f#ck about.

Here’s where I stand on this:

I have a problem with anyone taunting or yelling racial epithets at children. I have a problem with people being indiscriminately racist toward a black person for the “sin” of being black. I have NO problem with certain black people who are complete trash and thugs not only being called n*gger but being treated like one. I, personally, would never use the word n*gger out of respect to the many black people whom I consider friends, but I do not care in the least when trashy black people are on the receiving sh*t end of that racist stick. No, I don’t care if I am considered racist for that anymore than I care that a racist Karen got convicted of a misdemeanor for acting like a cvnt in public.

One of many differences between you mean—I am consistent and my own man.

Teaching, encouraging, and allowing children to be racist in any context, let alone in that of a GAME is abhorrent degenerate behavior but I’m not in the slightest bit surprised that you of all people is defending it.

If they had their constitutional rights violated and property stolen by the government then yes. Hurt feelings doesn't count.
How do you square that with the fact the constitution passively acknowledges slavery? What rights were violated?

Yes. The original U.S. Constitution (1787) addressed slavery in several places through indirect language and euphemisms, without ever using the words “slave” or “slavery.”

Key provisions included:

  • Three-Fifths Clause (Article I, Section 2): Representation in the House and direct taxes were apportioned by adding to the number of free persons “three fifths of all other Persons.” This counted enslaved people as three-fifths of a person for political power and taxation purposes.
  • Slave Trade Clause (Article I, Section 9): Congress was barred from prohibiting “the Migration or Importation of such Persons as any of the States now existing shall think proper to admit” before 1808. This protected the international slave trade for a set period (Congress banned it effective January 1, 1808).
  • Fugitive Slave Clause (Article IV, Section 2): “No Person held to Service or Labour in one State, under the Laws thereof, escaping into another, shall, in Consequence of any Law or Regulation therein, be discharged from such Service or Labour, but shall be delivered up on Claim of the Party to whom such Service or Labour may be due.” This required the return of escaped enslaved people.
These clauses reflected political compromises at the Constitutional Convention between free and slave states. The framers deliberately avoided explicit terminology.

Slavery was later abolished nationwide by the 13th Amendment (ratified 1865): “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.”

Slaves were property. They were unlawful taken. Union troops destroyed private property as well. I fully acknowledge that the constitution allowed and protected slavery. That’s why the case is strong for reparations.

What do you mean they were unlawfully taken? Europeans went to Africa and took the slaves? I don't think that's how it worked.

The slaves in America were not unlawfully taken. They were a part of a thriving industry at the time and were actually sold by African kings.

Yes. European traders, merchants, and colonial powers actively sought enslaved Africans, purchased them primarily through African intermediaries, and transported them across the Atlantic to the Americas as part of the transatlantic slave trade.

How enslaved Africans ended up in the Americas

  1. Capture and supply in Africa
Slavery and the trade in captives already existed in many African societies. European demand greatly expanded it. African kings, chiefs, merchants, and warriors captured people through wars, raids, judicial punishments, and kidnapping, then marched them to coastal trading posts or forts. Europeans rarely went deep inland themselves; they bought captives at the coast from African sellers in exchange for goods such as textiles, guns, metalware, alcohol, and beads. Major source regions included West Africa (Senegambia, Gold Coast, Bight of Benin, Bight of Biafra) and West-Central Africa (Congo-Angola region).
  2. European role and the Middle Passage
Portuguese traders began the Atlantic trade in the 1400s. Spanish, British, French, Dutch, and other European powers followed and scaled it up dramatically in the 1600s–1700s to supply labor for plantations producing sugar, tobacco, rice, indigo, cotton, and other cash crops. Enslaved people were loaded onto specially fitted ships and endured the Middle Passage—the forced ocean voyage lasting weeks to months under brutal conditions (overcrowding, disease, abuse). Mortality was high.
  3. Arrival and sale in the Americas
Survivors were sold at ports in the Caribbean, Brazil, Spanish mainland colonies, and British North America. They were put to work mainly on plantations, in mines, or as domestic and urban labor. Their status was typically hereditary chattel slavery under colonial laws.

Scale

Roughly 12.5 million Africans were embarked on transatlantic voyages; about 10.7 million survived to disembark in the Americas (estimates from the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade Database). The large majority went to Brazil and the Caribbean. Approximately 388,000 disembarked in what became the United States (mainly through ports in the Chesapeake, Carolinas, and later the Deep South). The trade to British North America peaked in the 1700s and was legally ended by the U.S. in 1808 (though illegal smuggling continued for a time).

The trade was a commercial system driven by European colonial demand for labor after the catastrophic decline of Indigenous populations in many areas, combined with African elites’ willingness to sell captives. It was not the only form of slavery in the Americas (Indigenous slavery and European indentured servitude also existed), but the African trade became the dominant source of coerced plantation labor in the sugar and later cotton economies.

This white nationalist garbage certainly isn't limited to South Carolina. Check out this story out of Nevada, where the crowd at a Trump Rally in Las Vegas booed at the mention of a police officer who was ambushed and shot to death recently. They booed because Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo mentioned his name, Austin Abdelnabi. Lord knows MAGAts have got to boo anyone with an Arabic or Muslim sounding surname ....

A Trump rally crowd booed a fallen officer seemingly because of his name
Saw this. Absolutely effed up behavior.

They were confiscated ..... so they could be freed. That's what the war was fought over. If they wanted "War Prizes", or reparations, why didn't they settle that then instead of 150 years later? For example, Iran is negotiating it's war settlement now. If they come back in 150 years and try to get more, i think we would laugh at them. Is Japan still asking us for money? Not sure I understand the logic.

Not to mention, we have been paying reparations through various other avenues for a long time. And now again withe DEI. When will it ever stop?

And by allowing it to continue their coaches and the tournament directors are telling them it is ok to be racist.

But since your sucking off Yankees this morning, was it racist that Lincoln wanted all the blacks sent back to Africa. Just curious how that was received by you morons.
Yeah, remember that thing that happened 160 years ago!! Totally makes these little shīts chanting racist crap at other kids perfectly acceptable.

kidmikeshortofbrainsandhumanity, you should put this on the front page of your website for your property development company, or on your bio for your King's board spot. "Michael Short believes that slaves were property that was unlawfully taken, and he believes slave owners should be given reparations by the federal government to compensate them for the government's unlawful taken of said property."

So what did poptart mean in that context? So you are in here white knighting for a term you yourself have used?

I don’t believe the 13th amendment was lawfully ratified.

I think it is an interesting legal conversation.

Isn’t that what we do on message boards?

You're not a smart man ... kidmikeshortofbrainsandhumanity is admitting to you that he's an anti-American uber-racist ... he's defending slave owners and wants them to be compensated for their "losses," and thinks the South should be further compensated for wanting to break free from America. Our little down syndrome looking kidmikeshortofbrainsandhumanity is a grand wizard.
